Eco-technology

New Ecotechnology Section Make Waves

by Sanjay Patel, Ecotechology Editor

  Solar and Wind Power

Government in Canada continues to expand investments in polluting fossil-fuel extraction and exploration over public health safeguarding wind power, solar power and other clean-air technologies.

Technology can be either undermine or can constructively facilitate the quality of human survival. The Canadian National Newspaper, is committed to facilitating a critical awareness of often marginalized technologies, which complement socially and ecologically sensitized economic development.

Polluting fossil fuel-burning cars, is an example of a technology which presents an immediate threat to human survival, through the catastrophic consequences of worsening Global Warming. In sharp contrast, electric cars represent an example of a technology, which has been further "perfected" by Canadian designers. Indeed, contrary to apparent disinformation, electric car technology is now more than ready for "mass-consumption" use by the broad diverse public.

Electric car technology

Electric car technology is being repressed.

The promotion of electric car technology by government policies in Canada, (and elsewhere) would help to significantly reduce Global Warming. Government allowing the mass-production of electric cars would expedite fulfillment of Earth-saving Kyoto protocol greenhouse emissions reducing objectives. However, electric car technology that could 'mass-produce' family car-sized sedans, is being reportedly actively repressed in apparent favour of the objectives of commercial profit interests in technologies. These destructive technologies incur significant worsening social and environmental costs.

The Canadian is committed to facilitating critical public awareness of "eco-technology" from wind energy, to solar power, to Canadian inventions, and to related investigative current affairs coverage. As a not-for-profit, as compared to a typical corporate-owned for-profit newspapers, we place vital public awareness, as a necessary service to Canadians, and to our international readership.
