Did Biblical authors prophecise against the advent of the George Bush regime?

The current U.S. President George W. Bush regime advertises itself as the greatest defender of a Christian spirit. Yet, the Bush regime continues to willfully preside over the spread of horrific atrocities in the Middle East and elsewhere including the United States; worsening Globalized poverty; and Global Warming which threatens to kill billions of people. Does the Bush regime act as if it was the 'ultimate' disciple of Jesus on Earth, as it presents itself? Or does it in fact, act as if it is the exact opposite? But then again, the Bible did warn of a "Great Pretender" in the new millennium, who would lead humanity into its destruction.
