Stephen Lewis Lecture at the University of Toronto to explore AIDS and class struggle in the Workplace Compiled by Paul Chen
Woodsworth College's 25th annual Sefton Lecture presents the Chairperson of the Stephen Lewis Foundation and former United Nations envoy for HIV/AIDS. He speaks on "AIDS as Metaphor: The Class Struggle in the Workplace". Woodsworth College and the Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources are proud to present Stephen Lewis, Chair, the Stephen Lewis Foundation and former United Nations envoy for HIV/AIDS. Please join former politician, diplomat and United Nations special envoy for HIV/AIDS and international envoy for humanitarian efforts as he delivers this special anniversary Sefton Lecture. The Sefton Award for contributions to labour relations will be presented to Leah Casselman, president Ontario Public Service Employees Union. Reception follows lecture. All are welcome to this free lecture. The event will take place on Monday, March 26th, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Leslie Dan Pharmacy Building, 144 College Street, Room B150.
