U.S. military must save itself in Iraq and Afghanistan through respecting its traditions of Honour by George Adams III, Military Specialist
From a perspective of a former military commander, it is easy to appreciate why Middle East wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are going so poorly, for America and its so-called "coalition" partners. This is because of a complete, and apparently pre-meditated breakdown of the military Honour Code. The military Honour Code is meant to protect all military personnel, from troops all the way to the top echelons of the military command. The military Honour Code, is vital to the respecting and endeavouring to protect the lives of the men and women who put themselves in the line of fire. In the military Honour Code, the required unquestioning loyalty of "the troops", requires the reciprocated unquestioning loyalty of the whole military command structure. This means upper-level Lieutenants, Captains, Majors, Generals, Admirals, and the Commander-in-Chief, or President, must demonstrate loyalty downward to the troops within the U.S. system.
In War, troops from the "bottom" to commanders in the upper echelons of the military command structure, to political-military elites who are responsible for funding "War", must operate from a context of loyalty that is mutual. The problem of the current Middle East wars in the so-called "War of Terrorism", is that the political structure with military oversight responsibilities which had ordered the execution of wars in the Middle East, has demonstrated that it is not loyal to the military personnel and to various commanders in the "theatre" of the war. The fact is that well documented reports, have exposed U.S. military personnel as having been wilfully sent into battle without proper military equipment to "fight the enemy". Furthermore, military personnel and combat veterans who do come back to the United States. have often been left homeless, with life-threatening illnesses without any medical treatment. This mix of circumstances exposes the lack of honour in the political-military elites executing the War, and who have treated the American public with much the same callous disdain and neglect, while certain corporate interests secure immense profit. Respecting the specific context of the Military Honour Code ensures honourable results, which are vital in a military organization which operates to preserve and defend democracy. In contrast, military organizations which operate within fascist or totalitarian systems have NO such honour code to respect; and military troops are just threatened as pawns to be sacrificed to the political ambitions of political-military elites. It is apparent that the U.S. military, is being treated not consistent with the functioning of a military Honour Code in defending "freedom" and democracy, but is instead treated with totally no respect whatsoever, as in a fascist regime like Nazi Germany or some other totalitarian regime.
An appreciation of breakdown of the military Honour Code under the auspices of the prevailing participating political-military elites, shows that military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan are not fighting a "War on Terrorism" to defend "freedom" and "democracy". Rather, the well-documented breakdown of the military Honour Code, shows that military personnel at all levels, are fighting to defend an elite-driven apparatus, which seeks to create some kind of neo-fascist or quasi-totalitarian driven Empire, where the military will constantly be put needlessly in harms way, by opportunistic "capitalists". U.S. military personnel were deceived by elites that evoked World War II imagery of their similar place as liberators It is understandable why U.S. military personnel were so motivated to sign up to go to "fight war" in Iraq. Much of these military personnel would have been familiar with reports about World War II. Indeed, World War II, was unquestioningly about America with the rest of the World, standing up together, and fighting for democracy and 'freedom'. In that War, the military Honour Code had been respected. America was not looking for a war to put its troops in harms way, like Iraq and elsewhere. Instead, America provided its troops with the best protection it could provide its troops, having been driven into World War II, to sincerely defend democracy and freedom.
The ethical reasons which drove America to war at that time, inspired the world to fight hand in hand with America. The result was that American troops with their Allies, were greeted with general open arms as liberators. In World War II, political-military elites with full loyalty, respected their military personnel as defenders of 'democracy' and "freedom"; military personnel provided their loyalty, and civilians greeted America as honourable co-liberators. The current "War on Terror" as being executed by the same group of perpetrators who contrived and maintained the genocidal Vietnam War The current Wars in the Middle East, substantively resemble the Vietnam War so much, because the current Wars in the Middle East features the same kind of breakdown in the military Honour Code that had occurred in the War in Vietnam during the 1960's. How could this occur, you might say? That is because the current Wars in the Middle East is driven by the very same group of people and cliques, with the same self-serving ideology. Go do the research yourself, if you don't believe this well-documented fact. Members of this group which sometimes now call themselves "neo-conservatives", or the "Christian Right", follows the neo-fascist philosophies of Leo Strauss, who had admired Hitler's Nazi Germany, and such books as The Anti-Christ. As a result, they neither respect the traditions of the American military as defenders of freedom and "democracy", nor the American public in general. America is viewed by these elites as having been actually "weakened" by "freedom" and democracy. These elites, who use these words to excite passions in the American people as a technique of mass-deception, actually view "freedom" and democracy as "weakening America." These elites, inspired by the ideology of Leo Strauss, view themselves as essentially "rescuing America from itself", with the use of the U.S. military, as its primary tool. Again, do the research yourself, if you don't believe. America is no longer in the hands of the honourable guardians of the American republic like Franklin D. Roosevelt, who fought to defend America's honour and traditions ,in America, and throughout the world as a society of peace, human rights and social justice, guided by wisdom. Even former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, in spite of allegations concerning his personal life, was politically a man of general honour, who indeed, reportedly sought to abort the Vietnam War fiasco, before he was assassinated. His brother Robert F. Kennedy who sought to go even further to restore Honour in American society, inclusive of the military; and whosought to end the War in Vietnam, and to build a more egalitarian society, became another unfortunate victim of the same fate in 1968, along with civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, that same year, and Malcolm X, shortly before. The American military was deceived along with the American people
Military personnel who went to Iraq and elsewhere, thinking that they would be greeted with flowers and open arms like American and allied troops in World War II, were not, because the control of America has shifted away from the guardians of American honour and into traditions into the hands of destroyers of America's honour and traditions. These self-serving elites, were able to get military personnel to wilfully support their self-serving cause, by deceiving these troops that they would in fact be greeted with open arms with flowers, as liberators. In fact, these elites do not seek liberation for Iraqi's, Afghanis, or for anyone else, for that matter including Americans. That is in contrast with World War II, which operated from a different political context in America. In the overall context of unnecessary pre-emptive war against Iraq based upon untruths about Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs), a breakdown of the Military Code of reciprocal Honour in all levels of coordinating military and political structures has occurred in the United States. This is shown by the lack of respect for the safety and well-being of serving military personnel, and veterans. It is apparent that while military personnel at all levels are being wilfully sacrificed, the same clique which pushed for war, is becoming financially wealthy. At the same time, the lack of regard for military personnel by this increasingly wealthy clique, is also evident in a milieu where civilians are often without the basic necessities of life in an unethical self-serving war, are becoming more and more desperate. Desperate Muslim youth are turning into "terrorism" which is what many people in Iraq view to be "freedom fighters", to fight against U.S. and other occupying military personnel. Both U.S. and the partnering military personnel and Iraqi "freedom fighters" have been betrayed by the same group of elites, who seek not democracy, and "freedom". These U.S. elites, driven by a cult-like psychology "alien" to the founding American political consciousness of the Thirteen Colonies, seek to amass more financial wealth for themselves, while manipulatively pitting equally betrayed military personnel, against anguished often armed civilians -- which are being needlessly assimilated into a culture of "terrorism". These military-political elites, have shown that they do not respect the military Honour Code, and instead are pursuing an entirely self-serving agenda, in which the inevitable outcome is the entire self-destruction of the human Civilization. This view is not an exaggeration or a reference intended to be dramatic. It just a matter of common sense, to appreciate the dire consequences of the delinquency by a Military Superpower like the U.S., that has an armaments capability which could destroy the Earth many, many times over. 9/11 and the perpetration of a "demonic consciousness" Dr. Day Ray Griffin had indicated that 9/11 was perpetrated by a "demonic consciousness", which seeks to basically destroy humanity, using the United States as its primary too. Deception is a prime technique of this apparent "demonic consciousness" which attempts to fool military organizations and civilians alike into becoming de-sensitized to the manipulation strategies of the apparent demonic consciousness. Some scholars like Dr. Michael Salla and others which include reference to ancient Gnostic research have suggested that this apparent "demonic consciousness" is consistent with findings about Manipulative Extraterrestrials. It is indeed alleged that Manipulative Extraterrestrials seek to keep pitting groups of humanity against each other until these groups either destroy themselves, or at least become so weakened, that a sentient species can be enslaved and further oppressed. The idea that the immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere as leading to "chaos" is dis-information With that in mind, the idea that U.S. military personnel leaving Iraq would lead to "chaos" and worsening civil war, is apparent mass-deception spread by the same group which alleged the presence of WMDs in Iraq in the first place. If U.S. military personnel left Iraq, turning over Iraq and other "theatres" of current operating U.S. military conflict, to a transitional U.N. multinational peacemaking force, conflict in Iraq and elsewhere would likely continue to diminish. This is because, American Honour would be restored, with the lives of military personnel respected, and principles of peace, social justice; and in a milieu in which America would no longer be viewed to be an oppressor, wisdom, that had made America a great democracy into World War II would re-emerge. The mischievous hard core "real terrorists" in Iraq would quickly loose their current broadening support, which now is feeding-off of the overall dishonourable culture of War that is being executed by self-serving interests that seek more oil and other resources, in order to shore up their self-perceived pursuit of Empire relative to competition with the surging authoritarian capitalist Superpower of China. However, it is apparent that the elites who disrespect the context of the Military Honour Code, in an overall culture of self-serving dishonour, do not seek peace. These self-serving elites intentionally fuel the flames of enmity, between military personnel and self-perceived "freedom fighters", because these elites want to use the military not to defend "freedom" and democracy as they claim, but to consolidate their desire for Empire. Appreciating this desire exists is not a release of top-secret information, but is well documented in such books as Rebuilding America's Defenses (September 2000) the New American Century, (and other such published manifestos of neo-fascist capitalism). That book is ideologically associated with the Project for a New American Century (PNAC) In the view of the PNAC, Why have, for example, stockpiles of nuclear weapons, if you are not going to use these stockpiles to make threats to either get you own way, or to actually deploy them against various "enemies"? This is the same mentality which has not apparent respect for serving military personnel. Military organizations must awaken to the reality of the perilous course of supporting greed-driven aspiring "Emperors", and NOT the spread of self-sustaining systems of democracy which supports a stabilizing global milieu of peace The fate of the world critically relies on the extent that U.S. and affiliated military command structures, seek to restore the operating context of a Military Honour Code. These command structures can either decide to restore the operation of the Military Honour Code in the sincere defence of democracy of freedom, by pulling out NOW out Iraq and other parts of the world where this Code is not being respected. Otherwise, this Military Honour Code of Honour, will be replaced by a self-destructive dis-honour, venality, and greed. The implicit rejection of the traditional functioning Military Honour Code, had foremost rejected the use of the military in wars of imperialist expansion now promises to lead to worsening human self-destruction, under the execution of self-serving elites intoxicated by their pursuit of "wealth" and "power" irrespective of social and environmental costs on Humanity. The American Revolution, was inspired by the American people rebelling against the British Empire that sought to oppress the American spirit, and had sought to govern the Thirteen Colonies with "arbitrary" and oppressive rule, in order to make their elites wealthy, at the expense of Americans. Military personnel by allowing themselves to be dis-respected within a vital Honour Code, and to be correspondingly used as a disposable tool for the pursuit of the objective of an apparent demonic ego (that apparently contrived the "War of Terror" scenario in the first place) do not serve freedom or democracy. Legally, the military Honour Code operates somewhat similar to a Parent-Child context in a civilian milieu. The law recognizes that parents have a right to bring up their kids, and to give their "directives" or "orders" to obey, AS LONG AS, the children in the process, are not being abused, or led astray into a path of endangerment. The breakdown of the operation of the context of the military Honour Code has resulted in military personnel indeed, being abused, and being led into a path of endangerment. The military organization's delinquent "parents", have wrapped themselves up in their own pursuit of self-aggrandizement and otherwise selfish personal ambition. The restoration of a course of "freedom", therefore relies on military organizations, inspired by the operation of a Honour Code in a democracy, to be successfully disengaged from a theatre of conflict, which is the very source of its ongoing self-destruction. Why Americans in general reject the oppressive execution of the "War on Terror"
The majority of the American public, and growing constituencies of veterans and military personnel, reject the War in Iraq, and other such similar military expeditions because Americans as a people, realize that these wars are being executed by an elite which operates in a manner that is "alien" to the American spirit. Americans, generally see their military as a means of defensive protection in the world, so that they can be left alone as a free people, in a type of people-centred country, where they can co-operate with other societies in the advancement of mutual quality-of-living considerations. Americans including the majority of U.S. military personnel, do not share with the prevailing operating elites, the apparent appetite for the instigation of pre-emptive and short-sighted "wars of conquest", in order to advance either materialistic or profit driven agendas. Americans which include the original colonists, who fought for GENUINE freedom and democracy, reject the mis-use of the actions being taken under the American Flag NOT to liberate, but INSTEAD to observably oppress and occupy foreign territories, in a manner that had previously subjugated the Thirteen Colonies in the early formation of America. American military personnel, and oppressed people alike which now re-include the American public, that now live in an enforced state of artificially perpetuated wars and re-enforced fear, have a responsibility. They must unite together in a "community of human interest", against a "demonic consciousness" that seeks to create an oppressive New World Order under a re-enforcing mantra of dis-honour and institutionalized fascism, which violates ethics and human decency.
