British citizen faces 70 years in U.S. Prison for UFO Hacking research

Gary McKinnon had sought an appeal against extradition to the U.S. over charges he hacked into 97 US military and NASA computers between 2001 and 2002. He said he was searching for UFO secrets - something he claims to have achieved.

But in early April 2007, the High Court in London refused to block his extradition meaning he faces trial in the US and a possible 70 years in prison. McKinnon's only remaining option is a last-ditch appeal to the House of Lords.
