Tony Blair's government values getting nukes over the vital needs of the British people

Mr. Blair and Mr, Brown are rushing their plan through parliament to update Britain’s nuclear weapons. At an initial cost of £20 billion, the 160 warheads will have the combined destructive force of 1,280 Hiroshimas. Alternatively, that money could pay for hundreds of thousands of nurses and teachers, and provide other essential social services as well as other vital needs, including protecting vital British ecosystems.

The notion that Tony Blair and his Labour party colleague are "socialists" is inaccurate. Mr. Blair government embraces the same Empire creation agenda as the U.S. Bush administration.
