Institutionalized religion has often used the pronoun "He" when referring to God. The use of "He" when referring to God in various religious services and scriptural references does not appear to be innocent. By using the term "He" various largely male-dominated elites which preside over institutionalized religions can legitimate their chauvinistic cliques. Gnostic disciples of Jesus also critically suggest that the idea of a "God" expressed as a masculinized "supreme being" that "stands in judgement of humanity; is a Manipulative Extraterrestrial manipulation.

According to Gnostics, the "God" which institutionalized religions present, is an extraterrestrial demonic consciousness which uses the disguise of a "false God" to manipulate Earthbound humanity into worshipping it. So, when people seek to "worship" God through religion, they are actually worshipping a demonic consciousness that seeks to oppress Earthbound Humanity.

Gnostic disciples of Jesus sought to support a critical social awareness of the true cosmic God, that can be conceived to be totally gender-inclusive. Gnostics reveal that Earthbound humanity, are all sons and daughters of a cosmic God. The cosmic God exists, not as an external entity, but manifests in the eternal light of being, and also within the vital spirit of humanity, and all living creatures on Earth, as an expression of a creative consciousness.

Society is currently being destroyed under the self-destructive guidance context of organized religion, which creates a "false God" in order to manipulate Earthbound humanity into social psychological prisms which complement greed, oppression, and a culture of violence.

If society can liberate itself from pursuing indoctrination through religion, into an understanding of the cosmic God of the universe, humanity can begin to shed the "skin of evil" that is associated with organized religion. This "skin of evil" associated with the 'false God' associated with institutionalized religion, has been responsible for genocides, ecocide, wars, and ensuing Crimes against Humanity.

By understanding God, as neither a "He" or "She" as presented by institutionalized religion, but as a broad interconnected liberating creative higher consciousness, humanity can be inspired to collectively focus on an invigorated evolutionary path. This path would affirm the quality of survival for human beings, without the prejudice to each other that is created by mass religious manipulation techniques. Such a path that seeks to understand the cosmic God, rather than to worship what the Gnostics describe as a venal "false God", would correspondingly embrace the vital ethical priority to affirm human rights, social justice, and environmental protection; and that would arise within a context of social and spiritual interconnectedness and togetherness.
