Saying No to Free Trade with the U.S. is a yes for the Environment by Bill Hubachek We are awakening to the fact that there is an enormous price to be paid for our past and current ecological sins. We have come to know that increasing our consumption and the wasteful exploitation of our precious, shared resources required to feed this unholy appetite, is contrary to human's and Earth's dignity, health, and indeed survival.
By saying no to the Free Trade deal and its way of thinking, we can send a signal to our fellow concerned brothers and sisters on this planet. It will tell them that our nation refuses the pursuit of the lowest common denominator, which is inherent in any level playing field with a larger partner, whose course is steered by the captains of Big Business and mass consumption, About this article: Retro Section.
