Canadian activists gather against SPP plans to assimilate Canada into anti-democratic NAU Courtesy of C & T, and edited by John Stokes Niagara Coalition Against the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) and TILMA (N-CAST) are scheduled to meet in Montebello Park in St. Catharines, Ontario, this Thursday, August 16, 2007, at 11:30 A.M., for a peaceful rally. The rally will begin at Montebello Park in downtown St. Catharines and will march to City Hall where they will distribute flyers and present information regarding this unconstitutional tri-national trade Agreement. After the rally in St. Catharines, the N-CAST group will have their last meeting before going to Ottawa Thursday 16th at 7:00 at the Unitarian Church at 7:00 PM, 223 Church St., St. Catharines, parking on site (next to Delta Bingo). Organizers plea with prospective participants to "please ONLY use the BACK DOOR for entering and exiting. If you plan on travelling to Ottawa from the Golden Horseshoe this weekend, please attend this meeting." Mr. Bush and Mr. Calderon will be meeting with Prime Minister Harper August 20 and 21 in Montebello, Québec to further the dismantling of Canada, the U.S., and Mexico as sovereign nations. The SPP agenda is being pushed by the North American Competitiveness Council (NACC) which includes 10 business leaders from each of the three countries in an effort to erase borders, harmonize virtually all policy amongst the three countries, and obtain access to cheap labour in Mexico. Once your wage has been "harmonized" with your Mexican counterparts, how will that affect your standard of living? SPP documents specifically state "Evolution By Stealth", meaning these changes are being implemented in secret, without consulting the taxpayer or our elected officials. Therefore, corporations are behind the SPP, and are implementing it in private. THAT IS FASCISM. There will be lots of activity in Ottawa this weekend and next week, if you plan on attending the mass demonstrations including a summit hosted by the Council of Canadians on Sunday at 4 P.M. at Marion Hall, 140 Louis Pasteur, University of Ottawa.
