It is time to take back Canada for Canadians, and away from foreign corporate control

The Stephen Harper minority government, is giving away Canada to largely U.S. Big Business interests. The Stephen Harper government, is working in behalf of these interests, and not that of Canadians. Such sustained activity, will continue to destroy the ability of Canadians to control their own society. A growing list of foreign take-overs have included the Hudson's Bay Company, Molson's, Alcan, Tim Horton's, and many other Canadian institutions of long standing.

Pierre Lafleur, the spokesperson of the new Progressive Nationalist Party of Canada, LINK, says that it is imperative that Canadians wake up to the path of destruction of Canada, that is being pursued under the auspices of the Stephen Harper government, and its supporting right-wing allies.

"We are currently seeking to confirm over 300 candidates in the next federal election, who are prepared to help inspire the taking back of Canada for Canadians, and away from largely U.S. controlled Big Business interests."

"It is apparent that Mr. Harper and his colleagues have no respect for the defence of the Canadian identity. His government is all talk and no action on the defence of Canada from being sold out to greed driven Anglo-American interests", stipulates Pierre Lafleur.

All the accomplishments under the forward-thinking Pierre Elliot Trudeau government during the 1970's and early 1980's, toward the Canadianzation of the Canadian political economy have been effectively destroyed by the attempts of Mr. Harper and his colleagues to sell Canada out as an independent country, via so-called "Free Trade".

Rampant foreign corporate take-overs means a loss of overall societal control in the direction of Canada, as well as accompanying foreign corporate political domination of Canada. This problem includes the loss of jobs, the destruction of labour laws, and social justice as well as environmental protection as vital public policy priorities. The Progressive Nationalist Party supports the re-creation of the Foreign Investment Review Agency (FIRA) that can ensure that all proposed foreign take-overs of Canadian enterprises, are in our national interest.
