Big Business interests undermine a lifetime of free energy for consumers

by Stewart Brennan

  Big Business

In today’s world of corporate dictatorship, a simple and very persistent idea can be crushed with great efficiency, because it does not flow with corporate policy or their profit guidelines. All the great ideas in the world that would help further the little guys independence, is squashed without batting an eyelash in boardrooms across the country in the name of stockholders and market share.

It’s no secret that the interests of the fossil fuel companies are at the top of the corporate money pyramid and you and I are at the bottom. In fact, I can also say without question that it is corporate policy that governs our Country, and makes our laws. Just ask any politician where he gets his money from and you will know where the favours are going. If you believe that one political party over any other is not corrupt, then I have land to sell you in Ottawa.

A “Lifetime of Free Energy” is possible for each human being on the planet, yet the very idea is being squashed in the name of Corporate Profit by Political puppets.

The problems and challenges that you and I face for this bold idea to become reality are at the Government level. Any attempt to bring energy self sufficiency to the population is met with a WALL of government nay Sayers backed by large corporate money.

I would have to say that Fear is the obstacle deliberately put in the way of the success of this project, and it is a card that the Fossil fuel industry plays effectively. Those that run these corporations WANT you to keep paying their prices. It makes no sense for them to have the people supply themselves. v Changing from fossil fuels (coal, oil and gas) to solar/wind powered electric energy is easy and is not as impossible as you are led to believe.

If I step outside the box, and look at the picture of the current system of electrical supply and demand, the flaw is painfully visible. The problem is massive sized utility companies over burdened over stretched, exploitive and greed-driven. The owners are a wealthy few that are resistant to change. Power and control is what they live by.

We need to look at the simplicity and logics of the problem. The solution is not to have a large behemoth of a corporation control the flow of energy, but to give energy consumption to individuals (identified as "consumers" in capitalist society) in the context of their communities via self contained transducer units. Converting wind and solar energy into electric energy, where the system is built into each household. That is the solution. Large grid power stations are social ecologically outdated dinosaurs.

The reason that the self-contained transducer unit direction is suppressed is because Big Business interests want to retain control of a population paying for a utility that they can no longer guarantee.

Self-power generation is not happening today on a large scale for one reason and one reason only; it goes against corporate ideology and therefore it is vehemently discouraged. Grid energy was cheap long ago when the demand was lower so it was easy for people then to just go along with what was available. Cost didn’t really factor in because it was minimal.

Reality Check

Suppose I had a unit that converted solar and wind energy into electricity and this unit would allow me to unhook corporate controlled Hydro from my house. The conversion unit would produce the electricity flowing into my house and it would be free for as long as I employed it. I would never have to pay for electricity again! No more electric bill, no more gas or oil bills, no more carbon footprint and the unit would belong to me.

Today and in the immediate future, energy costs will soar due to the limited availability and large demand for oil. Fossil fuels drive the World economy, as well as the energy market. Demand has risen exponentially while supplies have begun to dry up. The fact that new reserves have not been found should sound alarm bells for most people. Add the thought of peak oil and the picture becomes much clearer.

The World is on the brink of economic disaster and will plunge us into a major depression if action is not taken with respect to seeking alternative ways to produce energy. We simply will not have a choice if we want to continue and progress as a civilization. Otherwise we will be doomed to another dark age.

We do not need fossil fuel to generate electricity. The energy from the sun and the wind can be harnessed and turned into the electricity that we need in our daily lives. Given that Global warming needs a direct and efficient solution, the home unit can also answer the questions and concerns regarding energy, the environment, pollution and mankind’s future. It just takes a decision to do it and we have the means to do it now.

We need to push our government in the direction of complete change over from corporate control to individual control of electricity. I understand that it will not happen over night but to get the ball rolling we need to invest more money into companies that provide, say, the wind turbine generators that produce electricity or companies that manufacture solar panels. We should also push for R&D into the simplicity of smaller home unit systems, with a possible tax break for citizens that install them.

The drive for change is up to you and that is where the voter comes in. We need to press our government to remove the laws that promote monopolistic control. Government regulation needs to be changed to allow the existence of this new approach so that the powerful few do not squash it. It can be a source of politic that unseats a government if they refuse…if you get my point.

Consider the fact that Politicians are in bed with large fossil fuel and utility corporations, and you put them in a position of who they serve, the people or the corporation, you start the wave of freedom and independence from dictatorship! Are you ready for this battle to make it happen?

Allowing individual Canadians to reduce their carbon footprint and save thousands of dollars in the process would ensure a political party’s path to the seat of power in this country. The future of energy rests in your hands; all we have to do is decide to do it.

Herein is one of many companies involved in solar panels. There are a lot of good companies already in existence. LINK
