Finance Minister Jim Flaherty's eugenics message on Ontario's Budget: Cut taxes to the rich, and ignore social justice for the poor and others

by John Stokes

  Jim Flaherty

Jim Flaherty's Conservative Party is the apparent political front in Canada of a U.S. based movement of Eugenics practitioners.

Federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty is stepping up his apparent eugenics-inspired crusade against Premier Dalton McGuinty's government on the eve of provincial budget that is expected to be presented on 25 March 2008.

Flaherty continues to interfere with the right of McGuinty government to establish its own budget free of political interference from the federal government.

The Conservative federal finance minister has been vocal in saying the provincial Liberal government must slash taxes to Big Business interests and has been criss-crossing Canada sounding the alarm about Ontario's slowing economy.

Indeed, Ontario’s economy is “slowing” because the federal government under Stephen Harper, is divesting vital public resources raised from Ontario taxpayers away from being equitably reinvested into Ontario, and into support for U.S. President George W. Bush’s militaristic agenda in Occupied Afghanistan.

The Ontario economy was strong before the eugenics inspired Stephen Harper government sought to adapt the failed economic policies of the U.S. President George W. Bush administration, under the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) agenda.

The Conservative Party of Canada was founded by practitioners of Eugenics. This includes Preston Manning, whose father as Premier of Alberta, had presided over Eugenics inspired forced sterilization policy. Ernest Manning, was premier of Alberta from 1943 to 1968.

Trevor Harrison documented Stephen Harper himself and other Conservative Party elites as having former ties to the Northern Foundation, that espoused eugenics. Mr. Harrison also linked that Foundation to bona fide Nazi ideologues, which endorsed the views of Leo Strauss, and other fascist intellectuals.

In the view of Eugenics practitioners, societal “virility” comes from serving the rich in a society where only the “fittest should survive”.

Eugenic ideologues correspondingly views society as being weakened by providing support to the “poor”, and other groups of “racially inferior stock“.

That is the ideological context for the massive cuts to social programmes under the Stephen Harper government. Indeed, poverty and homelessness in Canada has proliferated under the eugenic-inspired policies of Flaherty, as corporate elites continue to rake in commercial profits. Indeed, Flaherty seeks to sell to the people of Ontario the mythology of Reaganomic “trickledown economics” that has been proven over and over to be societally destructive to promoting the quality-of-living of all people.

Mr. Flaherty is seeking to pressure the Ontario government to follow the Eugenics inspired example that is being established by the Stephen Harper government.

If Mr. Flaherty wants to sincerely help the Ontario government, then he should recommend that his eugenics inspired government resign in favour of a government guided by the vital Canadian values of social justice and economic democracy.
