Liberal Leader Stéphane Dion selling out Canada as he did David Orchard

In the last round federal by-elections, over the voices of local Liberals in Saskatchewan, who had nominated David Orchard, Liberal leader Stéphane Dion, decided to appoint one of his political cronies. This was done in the riding of Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River. It is deplorable in itself that Stéphane Dion would chose to exercise autocratic power, over the will of the people through the ballot, as recognized by the Liberal Party constitution. However, what is even more revealing about Stéphane Dion character, was that this political sabotage, was made against the very individual who was instrumental in supporting Mr. Dion's own leadership bid, in the previous National Liberal Convention. Arguably, without the support of David Orchard, who also represents a vocal grassroots constituency of progressive-minded Canadians, Mr. Dion would never have become Liberal leader.
If Mr. Dion is capable of this kind of apparent political treachery against someone like Mr. Orchard, what chance does "average Canadians" have to expect any honour or integrity from Mr. Dion? Can Canadians rely on Mr. Dion to listen to the kind of grassroots voices, seeking progressive social change, and more independence from the U.S., that David Orchard sought to passionately represent?
It is apparent that the current Liberal leader, is neither a champion of democracy, nor does he have much respect for honour and integrity. Stéphane Dion, indeed, has consistently demonstrated a desire to collude with Prime Minister Stephen Harper behind the scenes, and in behalf of U.S. President George W. Bush's Security and Prosperity and Partnership North American Union (SPP-NAU) agenda.
The front page 27 March 2008 Ottawa Citizen article titled "Absent Liberals under fire for giving Tories de facto majority", provides a detailed presentation of Mr. Dion's sabotage of the effectiveness of the Liberals, as a representative Opposition Party.
Mr. Dion most recently showed support for Mr. Harper's and Mr. Bush's expansionist ambitions of a U.S. military-industrial complex in Occupied Afghanistan. Mr. Dion, executed that autocratic direction, against the voices of Canadians within the Liberal Party and across Canada, who support the defence of Canada's peacekeeping traditions, against jingoistic entanglements in world affairs, as a U.S. satellite.
Mr. Dion's apparent support for the SPP-NAU agenda, that sells-out Canada to the U.S. industrial-military complex, ignores the will of Canadians to remain an independent country, in the same manner that he chose to ignore the will of Saskatchewan Liberals. The SPP-NAU agenda pledges to surrender Canada to the U.S. by 2010. This agenda has been further endorsed by a co-sponsoring sell out of Canada by former Liberal Deputy Prime Minister John Manley, who co-authored the book entitled Building a North American Community, ISBN 0881323284.
Saskatchewan voters responded to Mr. Dion's apparent treachery, by electing a Conservative Member of Parliament for Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River, in a riding that that been previously destined to be represented by the Trudeau-inspired Canadian nationalist champion David Orchard.
It is apparent that Mr. Dion did not seek to become Liberal leader in order to defend Liberal Party traditions in the spirit of acknowledged great Liberal leaders like former Prime Ministers like Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Lester B. Pearson, and Pierre Elliot Trudeau.
Instead, it is apparent that Mr. Dion, and his Liberal party leadership competitors like Michael Ignatieff, were politically financed infiltrators, acting as "trojan horses" against the traditional Liberal Party, and the interests of the people of Canada. Any Liberal members who seek to revive the pro-Canadian direction of the Liberal Party may need to consider the creation of a new "splinter" party, which can unite the vast majority of Liberals, who oppose Mr. Dion's neo-fascist agenda.
