Former Prime Minister Paul Martin is too ashamed to show face in Parliament because of role in North American Union agenda by Peter Tremblay
In the article titled "Martin should resign as MP, Layton says" by Elizabeth Thompson, that was published in the Montreal Gazette on 2 April 2008 "New Democratic Party leader Jack Layton, is calling on former Prime Minister Paul Martin to resign as a member of Parliament, saying residents of LaSalle-Émard deserve an MP who is going to actually show up in the House of Commons." But there is an apparent basic explanation why Paul Martin has not been in Parliament. If you were an Member of Parliament or even more so, a former Prime Minister, who signed an Agreement to sell out your country, without informing that nation, and if you felt guilty about it afterwards, how would you feel, after that, about taking your seat in Parliament? You would probably seek to stay as far away as possible from re-taking your seat in Parliament, and would busy yourself, as much as possible, with other issues that by help soothe your conscience. Indeed, this is exactly, what Mr. Martin seems to be doing. Mr. Martin, is too ashamed to re-enter the Parliament, having been "duped" to sell-out Canada, to the United States in 2005, via the Security and Prosperity Partnership North American Union (SPP-NAU) agenda. Mr. Martin wouldn't listen to former Prime Minister Jean Chrétien who had been pressured by U.S. President George W. Bush to sign a similar Agreement, that included participating in the “Star Wars” Missile Defence Systems. Mr. Martin wanted to be “his own man”, and decided in some egomaniacal perverse way, that he could make the SPP-NAU his own legacy. When Mr. Martin signed the Agreement at Waco, Texas, in 2005, the opinion polls showed that there was as much of a chance of Stephen Harper winning an election, as snow blizzard in the Sahara Desert. In 2005, Mr. Martin thought that he would please wealthy Big Business Liberals folk by singing to the SPP-NAU agenda, feeling confident that as Prime Minister, he could safeguard Canada's interests as an "equal partner". However, U.S. President George W. Bush never seemed to like his “Canadian counterpart” Paul Martin, and apparently did not seem to fond of the idea of doing further business with him. When Mr. Bush, and “ruling class” interests in the U.S. and Canada got Mr. Martin to "take-the-bait", a political tidal wave for “regime change” was initiated against Mr. Martin. Apparent confederates of Mr. Bush among the owners of Canada’s media organizations then decided to whip-up a storm to implicate as much as possible, Paul Martin’s affiliation to the Sponsorship Scandal. Canadian reporters were ordered to dig up as much "dirt" against Paul Martin as possible, which included his appointment of “some unexperienced black woman” as Governor General. Veteran reporters like CTV’s Mike Duffy, was part of the mudslinging. But, it was Jack Layton, the very individual who now criticizes Mr. Martin. who seemed to surprise Mr. Martin, the most. It is apparent that Paul Martin completely underestimated the apparent politically treachery of Jack Layton's NDP. This treachery was revealed when Mr. Layton, to Mr. Martin’s great surprise, decided to trigger of the 2006 Federal Election, fully well knowing that in the aftermath of Mr. Bush’s apparent tidal wave of regime change in Canada, Mr. Harper would likely prevail in the Election. Mr. Martin, seems to have been totally taken off guard by Mr. Layton's decision, in light of the fact that the Conservatives would be an unlikely ally on traditional NDP issues, including from support to universal healthcare, to affirming labour rights. However, it is apparent that Mr. Layton’s decision was not triggered by such a rational political calculation, but was triggered off by the NDP leader as having sold-out to a SPP-NAU coup.
It appears that at the behest of SPP-NAU architects, Mr. Layton made some kind of deal with Stephen Harper's Conservatives, and senior Big Business Liberals, through the encouragement of a U.S. Bush administration clique. Apparently, SPP-NAU architects among the “ruling class” in the U.S. and Canada, thought that Paul Martin would try to hold back somewhat the U.S. assimilation agenda of the SPP-NAU. Stephen Harper, with his well-established pedigree in far-right groups, inspired by Eugenics and social Darwinism, was selected by a “ruling class” as their choice to run things in Canada. Paul Martin Jr., in the 2006 Federal Election was shocked by forces of “regime change“, and began to regret his decision to sign the SPP-NAU agenda. In 2006 Federal Election, Paul Martin became a “latent Canadian nationalist”, and began to fear how Stephen Harper might use the Agreement he had signed, to destroy Canada in ways that Mr. Martin had wanted to avoid. Paul Martin loyalists, then decided to issue some politically controversial Liberal ads during the 2006 Federal Election, which to the average Canadian, seemed to be taking “low blows” at Stephen Harper. This included suggesting that a prospective Stephen Harper would lead to military troops on the streets of Canadian cities, in a context of some kind of police state. However, to the few Canadians who are fully aware of the Agreement that Paul Martin had signed in 2005, the commercials were prophetic. Indeed, in February 2008, Mr. Harper’s Conservatives, without any Parliamentary debate, enshrined into law, the “Civil Assistance Plan”, which authorizes U.S. troops to executive such an occupation of Canadian cities, without the consent of Canadians. If Paul Martin had the integrity to contextualize his authorized “alarmist” Liberal ads, as warnings to Canadians about the SPP-NAU agenda, then Mr. Martin might have won the election. However, Mr. Martin, in his apparent arrogance, did not want to divulge to Canadians what he had done; and thought that scaring Canadians away from Mr. Harper, would be sufficient for his government to prevail. Layton now says: “When a member of Parliament doesn't attend any of the votes, you'd have to wonder whether his leader should perhaps ask him to step aside in order to open the door for some representation for the citizens of LaSalle-Émard." The Montreal Gazette article also elaborated that, “Nor does Layton buy the argument that an exception should be made for Martin because he is a former Prime Minister.” Layton further says: "Missing 100 per cent of the votes certainly has a lot of people scratching their heads. It's hard to say that it's effective representation when you're never there." But of course, one can appreciate why CanWest Global, as publishers of the Montreal Gazette that have been cheerleaders and reported supporters of Conservative Party, would be sympathetic to Mr. Layton’s message. After all, it was Mr. Layton who was instrumental in getting "their man", Stephen Harper, to become Prime Minister, and lead instigator of the SPP-NAU. Dimitri Soudas, spokesperson for Prime Minister Stephen Harper, suggested the recent Liberal policy of abstaining from votes means it doesn't matter much if Martin is there or not. He argued that it, "Doesn't make much of a difference since the Liberals continue to support our government's initiatives and policies." Bloc Québécois leader Gilles Duceppe said, Martin should be docked pay if he isn't in the House and he isn't in his riding. The bottom line is that if Paul Martin is even five percent a man in the area of integrity, as his father Paul Martin Sr., then Mr. Martin will fully confess to Canadians of what he has done, rather than acting a bit like an ostrich, sticking his head in the ground. Does Paul Martin want to be known in the history books as a co-destroyer of the legacy of his father, and other Canadians who fought and struggle for our nationhood, against a history of American aggression, including the War of 1812? In 1976 Paul Martin Sr., was made a Companion of the Order of Canada. In recognition of his accomplishments, Martin was granted the right to use the honorific Right Honourable in 1992, a rare honour for one who has never been Prime Minister, Governor-General or Chief Justice of Canada. Wikipedia further notes that Paul Martin Sr. as having been a member of the Liberal Party of Canada, who was was first elected to the House of Commons in 1935 and entered the cabinet in 1945. He went on to serve as a noted member of the cabinets of four Prime Ministers: William Lyon Mackenzie King, Louis St. Laurent, Lester B. Pearson and Pierre Trudeau. Martin Sr. was viewed as one of the most “left-wing” members of the Liberal cabinet, and as Minister of National Health and Welfare from 1946 to 1957 he played an important role in the fight against polio and overseeing the development of hospital insurance in Canada, toward the development of universal public medicare. Martin Sr. served as Secretary of State for External Affairs in the Pearson government.
In 2005, his son, Paul Martin Jr. would betray Canada, and be ousted from being Prime Minister of Canada, having been apparently double-crossed, by the apparent advocates for regime change in Canada. If Paul Martin Jr. is feeling as guilty of his mis-deeds, by keeping away from Parliament Hill as he appears to be, confession, might be good for his soul. Paul Martin Jr. might yet redeem himself, if he, in the style of Pierre Elliot Trudeau, who has been recognized as a Great Canadian, he called a National Press Conference, and complete his truncated message on the SPP-NAU agenda, that he had sought to deliver to Canadians in the Liberal campaign ads. Canadians might be willing to forgive him for his SPP-NAU misstep, and for previous Bush-inspired mudslinging in Canada’s Big Business controlled mass-media. If he seeks to defend the Oath that he took in Parliament to defend Her Majesty the Queen of Canada, and the Canadian nation. Such a Press Conference would help to remedy the situation, even though that Press is under the control of SPP-NAU architects. Paul Martin Jr., might yet save his political legacy, if he does the right thing, as his father sought to do, before it is too late for Canada, under the SPP-NAU deadline to “integrate” Canada into the United States by 2010.
