Materialistic "Bread" pretext of Financial Crisis sabotages Social Survival: Part IV

Humans share with other biotic species , the desire to use preparation for offspring in their survival strategies. However, the increase in technical skills that humans develop through their mind-guided knowledge and sentience advancement, distinguishes us from other species. Research has shown, for example, that during the nesting period, birds which typically nest in flocks, deliberately feed in distant areas, and leave the feeding ground in the neighbourhood of their grouped nests, unforaged. They thereby enable the fledgelings to have a good material start.

Humans correspondingly apply technology to enhance their capability to acquire the means of their subsistence for themselves and their offspring. Toward doing so, they use new information as well as insights into old information, to enable them to better cope with the opportunities of the natural environment. Meanwhile, it is the presence and the capability of mind, which registered the improvement possibilities, that became formed into the new technology.

At the same time, how we measure performance from our time and resource commitments, extends beyond the extent to which we are able to support our survival with “bread”. The essay entitled “Living as Existential Masonry: A Rejection of the Capitalist Focus on Quality-of-life Enhancement” which was published online in The Canadian Newspaper, May-June 2008; therefore emphasized how those boundaries beyond”bread” fitted in. It pointed to the intuitive recognition which humans have of themselves, as a biotic existential junction with the cosmological reality of mind, as that which makes us more than seekers after “bread”.

That junction of humans with mind, reveals itself in the mixes of time and resource manipulative choices which comprise the material living (as an organic/biotic operation), that humans do/select. Conscious persons therefore enter into effort and resource management choices, with the intent to also service the mind-stimulated survival objectives which they have.

Mind-guided persons, set out to deduce technical information (under the guidance of the apparent norms of operating reality); and they aim to draw on their capacity to learn. In the process, they also aim to integrate and to correlate that learned technical information, so as to deduce the operating tolerances of material reality. The ultimate resource-manipulative aim of Conscious mind-guided humans, is to secure the opportunity to experience/execute an informed bonding with the prevailing and evolving reality of their natural environment. Furthermore, under the stimulation of their inner mind-guided existential voice, these Conscious humans aim to execute that bonding, (notwithstanding the malevolent intention of the capitalist doctrine to bamboozle them into spending their time chasing after more and more financial-equivalent “bread”).

“Bread”, as the staff of life, is the wherewithal which satisfies a consuming animal, which the human is, too. However, into the execution of their survival, the human animal brings an awareness of being in a union with, (up to being a possessor of) mind.

Each Conscious human being, intuitively harbours a desire to cultivate the mind that he/she has, so as to better comprehend reality. The result is that the individual human, develops a focus on quality-of-living as being an existentially-centred experience; rather than as being an experience which is depicted by the level of “bread”-consumption to which he/she has access.

That recognition and focus toward an existential bonding, by Conscious humans, contrasts with the capitalist emphasis regarding what achievement consists of. That is because human living which is portrayed in the time and effort commitments of persons, is essentially the execution of a series of operations, out of which respective persons (as mind-guided beings) aim to achieve harmony with an autonomously evolving natural environment.

Clearly, therefore, this recognition of what (mind guided) persons are doing in their effort and time commitments, leads us away from the capitalist performance measurement, which neglects to appreciate the quality-of-living achievement context on which the operation of mind concentrates. Instead, the capitalist focus imputes that quality-of-living comprises an outcome, which is primarily portrayed in the enhanced access of persons to profit opportunities, and to bread (as the “staff of life”)

Consider, for example, that high income earners, and persons who own large quantities of financially convertible wealth, do not automatically have access to a high quality-of-living. Neither do the winners of large sums of money in the lottery, automatically gain access to a high quality-of-living. Instead, the mind-centred focus on quality-of-living as an outcome, is rooted in an appreciation of the ability and in the willingness of persons to develop and accommodate to a Consciousness, that their materiality is linked to the cosmological pervasive reality of mind; (and that feature I had earlier elaborated in the paper entitled “An Invitation to the Fellowship of Mind”which was published online (October 16, 2007) in The Canadian Newspaper).

Indeed, persons who become aware that they are linked to the operating cosmological phenomena of mind, will recognize that the prevailing environment is important in economic terms, not merely because of the operating political rules regarding ownable property. As a result, the environment is important not merely because it provides resources that may be owned as property, which in turn supports outputs, that may then be traded on markets, so as to generate financial income.

The output from the environment, at which people who are pursuing targets in quality-of-living, aim, is an (existential) experience. That existential experience, arises as a sense of knowledge-guided harmony of their material survival, with the evolution of an autonomously functioning natural environment. When that achievement of knowledge-guided harmony with the evolving natural environment is forthcoming, people (respectively and collectively) come to recognize themselves as an integral part of material reality. They therefore come recognize that if their resource management operations are of the sort where they take care of their natural environment, that environment will, in turn, also take care of them.

As a result, “A Not by Bread Alone” reality to human living, is one in which humans (while they are executing knowledge-guided production and trade activities), are also applying themselves as stewards, in preservation of the natural environment. They become custodians of that natural environment, and by extension, of each other.

In such a reality, persons will give substantiveness and fulfilment to themselves, by means of the environmental custodian and the mutuality-centred effort commitments that make up their lives. Persons will therefore also aim to enhance their understanding of the combinations of the parts that make up the natural environment, and also the rules under which these parts operate. They will then have an enhanced information-guided understanding, and also a significant awareness window. It is that awareness window, which will then prompt them to better recognize themselves as also being entities that must achieve the mutuality with the operating environment, on which their survival also depends.

Persons who have become so aware, will therefore be less inclined to allow themselves to be sucked into the (alien, and biotic-hostile) capitalist emphasis on measuring the results from human resource and effort commitment, in terms of the extent to which financial profits, as “bread”-centred or “bread”-generating results, have been fostered. Such aware persons, will therefore be unlikely to accept the capitalist failure to give value to the natural environment, (or its failure to recognize it as being the cradle of the existential sentience in which we share). Indeed, the deliberate capitalist oversight of that value feature to the natural environment, is the route to human enslavement and degradation at the hands of the hostile forces that are behind the promotion of the capitalist doctrine.

Meanwhile, the value system which is behind the capitalist oversight of the survival support that the natural environment provides, is framed into the capitalist-sponsored system of education and socialization. The capitalist socialization emphases are not related to the fostering of mutuality of persons with each other, or with their environment. Instead, capitalist doctrine, which is formally and informally communicated via its educational and socialization system, essentially, and systematically, conditions persons to behave primarily as individuals who function as money-seeking instruments.

That system of education and socialization, conditions persons to operate within a non-verbalized and environmentally indifferent existential focus, which may be stated as follows: The environment in which persons live, is composed of respective collections of material systems, that are capable of generating mixes of material outcomes, which the presence of government, transform into marketable property. The next supporting proposition is that, the capacity and the desire of humans to trade, together with the government-created currencies which facilitate markets, then allow humans to manageably draw on outputs across a wide area, in support of their survival.

Respective persons who have been so conditioned in the capitalist educational system, therefore primarily look upon other human beings, as well as on the other components in their environment, in terms of how the observed entity, (person or the item), may function as a profit source. That profit yield comes into play, when these environmental components become used as manipulable instruments, that may function (or that may be presented) as potential sources of private financial-equivalent gain, when the instrument is exposed to trade and other market possibilities.

Additionally, that capitalist sponsored system of formal and informal education and socialization, also conditions persons to construe that management of the flows of desired outputs from the environment , (as well as management of the shocks, or of the deviations on those flows), is best executed if the society systematically accommodates, under the guidance of the capitalist doctrine.

As a result, people are conditioned to believe that the most scientifically appropriate accommodation to these systems deviations, in the natural environment, is executed when that environment and its components is treated as being essentially no more than composite sources of privately ownable property. The result of that capitalist conditioning, is that persons are led to expect that access to the means of their survival (that the environment is capable of delivering), only if they can privately offer product prices that the (legitimated) property owner will find sufficiently profitable

It is no wonder, therefore, that capitalism socializes persons to view the quantity of net financial results (“bread”) that they are able to privately secure, as being the overall scientific indicator of the worthwhileness of their effort and resource allocation. Persons who have been socialized to see their survival as being linked to their market capabilities. They are therefore led to overlook the influence of a cosmic mind on the specification of their substantiveness as human beings. The capitalist aim is to lead persons to essentially condemn themselves into evolutional anomia. In those circumstances, persons are therefore unlikely to aim their time and effort commitments to those achievements and results, that are associated with the mind-linked evolutionary timelessness dimensions which personal Consciousness comprises, and which mind-guided living prompts.

Persons who have been socialized to overlook how their choices of effort and resource commitments link them to the timeless features in (a cosmic) mind, will therefore also neglect to either recognize, or to place themselves, on the latent (personal) and critical mind-guided existential path, that their being alive essentially offers to them. Accordingly, an elaboration which accommodated to the presence of mind and markets, was presented in the essay entitled “Living, as Existential Masonry: A Rejection of the Capitalist Focus on Quality-of-Living”, was published online in The Canadian Newspaper (May-June 2008).

It is only a minuscule minority of sentient humans, who will be comfortable with construing primarily a financial-equivalent focus to their choices of time and effort commitments. Only that minority will be comfortable with regarding the time-use choices (which form their lives), as activities that have importance, primarily because of the financial-equivalent results and capabilities which are likely to emerge.

Additionally, it is only that minority of humans, who, being unwilling to look beyond their capitalist obsession, will see the primary outcome from their mind-guided survival, as being the power which they secure to execute more profitable business opportunities, out of which they will secure more power to control financial-equivalent wealth, and to manipulate people.

Indeed, it is only a hideous consciousness (that is alien to human survival reality), which would impute that humans, in their mental accommodation to themselves, should treat their cohorts (and the remainder of the environment which supports their sustenance), as being merely instruments that they may manipulate, so as to achieve for themselves more private financial wealth (“bread”).

It is imperative that the currently active and prevailing operating presence of such a hideous alien consciousness and motivational and management context, (that is behind the capitalist doctrine), must be recognized. That doctrine, seeks to undermine the quality of human mind-guided survival.

Without a doubt, the emphasis of capitalism, on promoting greed, selfishness, and exploitation, so as to secure reward that is measured as more “bread” (as private financial gain), represents a doctrine that is under the promotion and influence of such a hideous alien hideous consciousness.

Notably, therefore, the promoted capitalist doctrine, is hostile to the fostering of quality-of-living, as a mind-guided and environmental-centred existential evolution of humans. Its emphasis on the promotion of selfishness and greed in how societies are structured, aims to stifle and also to inhibit humans from pursuing a resource management emphasis that is informed by environmental accommodation. Accordingly, the indications are that, this hideous alien consciousness which is behind the prevailing bread-centred capitalist economic management doctrine, has a hidden agenda.

The hidden background agenda of the hideous consciousness that promotes the capitalist focus on reality, aims to inhibit humans from developing the disposition to accommodate to the cosmic reality of mind. The hidden agenda, therefore aims to inhibit the information-guided promotion of mutuality, among humans, and with the natural environment, which are features that an increased human awareness of the presence of the reality of cosmic mind, will stimulate.
