Master Pianist scheduled to play at Toronto's Bovine Sex Club on October 3

World renowned pianist Haiou Zhang is performing an exclusive performance at – of all places - the Bovine Sex Club on Friday October 3. Under normal circumstances Zhang would have appeared in one of Toronto's larger halls but instead has opted for a drastic change in venue to treat fans to an intimate and unique performance.

Haiou Zhang, who was born in 1984, studied from 1994 till 2002 at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Attracting attention on international concert podiums most recently, Zhang has received enthusiastic appearances at The Braunschweid Classix Festival, was awarded the prestigious Gundlach Music Prize in Germany, and debuted in Canada with the Toronto Philharmonia Orchestra.

As a keen chamber musician he is also the Gold medalist of the 1st National Piano-Duo Competition in China and has appearances scheduled through 2010.
