Obama reneges on moratorium against offshore drilling

Barack Obama presented himself to be strongly pro-environmental in his stance against offshore drilling during his Presidential campaign. But since becoming President, and even after the Gulf Oil spil, his administration continues support the same offshore drilling plans which had been pursued by the previous U.S. George W. Bush administration.
