12 UFOs in formation witnessed by North Carolina couple
by Roger Marsh
Two North Carolina witnesses attempted and failed to get photos of "at least 12" objects in the sky on December 7, 2010, including one disc-shaped UFO and other cigar-shaped UFOs, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The reporting witness said she pointed the objects out to her fiancée as she was driving, but he at first thought they were "fighter jets." The woman said she asked him to look again, as the objects were hovering in place, one looked disc-shaped, and the others looked cigar-shaped. The fiancée then told the woman to pull over.
They then attempted to take pictures using a camera phone, but they objects "would not show up."
"I pointed to the disc shaped one and told him to try and get it. At that point that thing took off like nothing I have ever seen. It was there and then gone in an instant," the reporting witness stated.
They continued to watch as more objects showed up, 12 total, and all staying in a tight formation.
"We heard no sound coming from them and they were all headed southwest. I finally got a little afraid and told my fiancee we were leaving the area."
North Carolina is a current UFO ALERT 5 rating, with a lower than average number of UFO sightings recently. North Carolina had 8 UFO sighting reports in November 2010, and 5 reports in October.

No video or images were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on December 8, 2010. No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the report.
The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If New Mexico MUFON State Director Donald R. Burleson, Ph.D. investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update. Please report UFO activity toMUFON.com.

We where driving home when I noticed a strange looking object in the sky,I told my fiancee to look and he said oh it is probably fighter jets to which I said they are sitting still in the sky and one looked liked a disc shaped and the other two looked long and bright but not moving, when he looked at them he yelled stop the car and that is what I did.
We tried to take a picture with our camera phone but it would not show up,
I pointed to the disc shape one and told him to try and get it, at that point that thing took off like nothing I have ever seen,it was there and then gone in an instant!!
We continued to watch and then more showed up,we counted at least twelve, all following formation really really close to one another. We heard no sound coming from them and they where all headed south west.I finally got a little afraid and told my fiancee we where leaving the area.
I have seen things in the past and regreted not telling someone, so I have tried to tell you everything that I could.
