Dr. Michael Salla in the first part of the above YouTube video seeks to clarify David Icke and other representations concerning "shapeshifters".

Shapeshifters have also been presented in science fiction which include FOX-TV's Fringe. In that series, interdimensional regressive aliens are portrayed as having the ability to take on a human appearance in order to engage in activities against human sovereignty on Earth.

According to Dr. Salla, "shapeshifters" need not literally change shape. Rather, shapeshifters are alien-human hybrids which can act as "vibrational energy conduits" for a manipulative alien agenda.
