Chris Brown goes back in Jail

Chris Brown has been ordered to stay in jail, at least until April 23rd after being arrested on Saturday.

He was at a California rehab centre when he was arrested due to a comment that he made in a group therapy session. Apparently Brown has said that he was good at using guns and knives when part of the session required the attendees to explain what things they were good at.

Other incidents also worried staff such as him rubbing elbows with a woman when he had agreed to stay at least two feet away from them and ignoring worker who was trying to give him a drug test.

His lawyer, Mark Geragos, explained that the singer had gone through a bad day and he did not think that he should have to stay in prison until his hearing date. He confirmed that he was planning to protest about the decision in the hope that he can be released early. It was confirmed by police that the singer had co-operated with police officers when they arrested him from the Malibu treatment facility where he was remaining for anger management treatment.

Mr. Brown was reportedly sentenced to three months of rehab in the clinic after being overseen by probation officers after he was punished for attacking Rihanna when she was his girlfriend in 2009 before the Grammy awards.

Mr. Brown is also being treated for post-traumatic stress disorder, past substance abuse and bipolar disorder. His probation for the assault was due to end this year but as revoked when he was arrested for assault, a case that is still pending.

If he does remain behind bars it will be the longest stint that he will have served in prison.
