This event for hip Ottawa singles is inspired by the Ottawa Wine and Food Festival that took place last November 2012. In fact, the event will be a very small version of the Ottawa Wine and Food show. Last year’s Wine and Food Festival was a great success as the people in the city got to taste many different varieties of exquisite wine, and they also got to taste the best of food, the city of Ottawa has to offer.

The event was an excellent combination of wine tasting and speed dating, which brought together hip singles from around the city. These single men and women had a gala time as they met new people, enjoyed great food and they also got to taste the winning entries of the wine tasting competition.  

Ottawa Encounters is trying to replicate last year’s event in a small way, by organizing the wine tasting meet on Friday, May 17, 2013. The attendees of the upcoming event will get to taste 6 Canadian wines, included in price, while they support charitable fundraising activities.
