India achieves hat-trick in Kabaddi world cup






Indian Kabaddians grab the title of World cup by defeating arch-rival Pakistan in the final match. Pakistan, who played superbly throughout the tournament, had an upper hand right from the start and at half time lead the score at their favor. In second half, Indian players dominated the game and out classed Pakistani players and ended up with scoring 59-22.

Both the sides have played enthusiastic game with winning courage but one has to win either. India have achieved the title consecutively Third time.

World Cup Kabaddi, Pool and representing countries:

Pool A: Afghanistan, Denmark, England and India

Pool B: Canada, Newzealand, Norway and Sri lanka

Pool C: Italy, Pakistan, Scotland and Sierra Lone

Pool D: Argentina, Kenya, Iran, and United States

Games were played in various stadiums of Indian Punjab and witnessed by thousands.

India has dominated three world cups defeating Pakistan and Canada in semi finals. In the first circle Kabaddi World cup held in India 2010, Pakistan was beaten by India scoring 95-79. In second edition 2011, Pakistan failed to live up when their team were beaten by Canada 45-15 in the Semi finals but Pakistan took the bronze medal by defeating Italy scoring 60-59.
