Six months before it begins opening its first wave of stores in this country, Target Canada has opened up its social media channels on Twitter and Facebook.
At Facebook.com/TargetCanada, people can ask questions about the company, give feedback and hear about the latest news and community initiatives. The Twitter.com/Target_CA link will direct followers to news, community relations initiatives and local movements.
The company’s social media efforts also include ABullseyeView.com, Target’s a behind-the-scenes online magazine.
Launched on Wednesday, the company’s Facebook page had garned close to 5,000 “likes” and 580 Twitter followers.
