High School cheerleader faces prostitution-related charges

It’s shocking just how far the young generation of the modern society is willing to go. A high school girl who is in cheer leading in a suburban Minneapolis high school has been taken to court for prostituting a fellow student who is younger in age. The student after receiving clients who were looking for sexual satisfaction through an ad she created online took the victim to see potential customers and in one case she pocketed $60 which the young girl had earned. Montia Marie Parker from Maple Grove, who is 18 years old, will make an appearance in court on June 12 to face felony charges of sex trafficking and promoting prostitution.

As a senior high school student at Hopkins High school Parker put up an ad on Backpage.com for the sixteen year old girl. She then drove the young girl to her apartment where the girl had oral sex with man and got paid $60 which Parker took from her. According to the authorities both Parker and the younger girl drove to meet up with another client the next day but in a different house but the man refused to have oral sex and so they left.

According to a report made, the young girl’s mother saw a conversation that her daughter had with Parker through text messages on the phone and called the police after reading them. A phone message was left for Parker’s attorney by the associated press but did not return the message immediately and phone listing for parker home could not be found.

According to what the 16year old had told her friends she had found a way to make some cash. Parker had contacted the girl via a message on face book together with text messages explaining to her how she could  make some cash by having sex, requesting her to send a few of her photos. According to the charges the photos were uploaded on Backpage.com by Parker who also listed her phone number for contact purposes. Both girls left school on 5th March and went to an apartment building. After a while the young girl came back to the car giving Parker $60 who then deposited the money into her own bank account. This was according to the complaint.

The charges stated that the next day Parker made a phone call to the school pretending to be the girl’s mother requesting for a day off for her daughter. Parker took the girl who left the school immediately to a certain home to meet up a client but the girl refused. Parker tried to comfort the girl telling her she would be fine and trying to intimidate her by telling her she did not drive up there for nothing. The girl offered the man oral sex but the man refused and so the girls drove back to school.

After the mother heard that her daughter had been excused from school and noticing a few changes in her behavior she went through her phone and that’s when she came across the messages. According to Minneapolis Lt. Kim Lund who is the president of Minnesota Juvenile Officers’ Association, there has been many cases involving teenage girls using Backpage.com but Parker’s case which involved a teen prostituting a fellow teen was an unusual one because normally many allegations involve adults prostituting teenage girls.

Parker who was set free on a $50,000 bond admitted to the police of creating the ad and receiving many calls from people who were interested. According to the officials of Hopkins High school, they acted immediately upon receiving the news about the charges and the district said that the student was permanently terminated from the school which is a discipline and safety policy of the school.
