Hollywood News: Mini-Stroke for Frankie Muniz

Frankie Muniz, best known for his role in "Malcolm in the Middle" has recently suffered several mini-strokes. This will come as a surprise as the actor is just 27 years old.

He was taken to the emergency room by his friends when they noticed that he was behaving strangely. This was due to not being able to talk properly or understand words correctly. Understandably they panicked and phoned 911. The doctors soon diagnosed that he had a mini-stroke.

However, this was not his first mini-stroke as he had one almost a year previously while riding his motorcycle and losing vision in one eye. He tweeted that he was feeling very miserable and old and that he needed to take care of his body more.

It would seem unusual for such a young person to suffer like this but it is more common than many people think. It is caused by the blood supply to a part of the brain being disrupted and often lasts a few minutes and causes speech and vision problems which tend to pass in a day.

The actor was best known for playing a character in 150 episode of ‘Malcom in the Middle’ which ended in 2006. When the series ended he put his career on hold to take up car racing. He also played drums in a band called Kingsfoil up until recently when he announced that he would be leaving because of scheduling conflicts.
