Beyonce visits Anne Frank house in Amsterdam

Beyonce took a moment out of her busy tour schedule to pay a visit to the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, just hours after performing at the city's Ziggo Dome.

She was joined by husband Jay Z and, according to the museum's Facebook page, they spent "more than an hour inside and very impressed by their visit to the hiding place of Anne Frank."

The museum also posted a shot showing the 32-year-old songstress writing a message in the guestbook. Beyonce took to Instagram to share a couple of pictures as well. In one, the singer can be seen crouching down in front of photographs of the young diarist. In another, she stands alongside a picture of Frank seated at a desk. Next to it, a journal entry from Frank is inscribed on the wall, which reads, "I'll make my voice heard, I'll go out into the world and work for mankind! 11 April 1944."

Last year, Justin Bieber faced some backlash when he visited the museum and wrote in the guestbook, "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber."
