James Franco: Lindsay Lohan ‘told Lies about me’

James Franco may have been named on Lindsay Lohan‘s alleged hookup list, but that doesn’t mean the two actually did the deed — or so he says. In a recent interview with L.A. Magazine, the actor (and Yale grad student) spoke out about LL’s notorious little black book.

During the interview, Franco discussed his upcoming book of poetry, ‘Directing Herbert White,’ which includes poems about celebrities such as Lohan. When the reporter asked him if any stars have reached out to him since, Franco was, well, frank: “No, I didn’t write anything bad about them,” the Ph.D. student replied.

He then turned the tables around on Lohan: “And Lindsay herself has told lies about me with her people-she’s-slept-with list! So I feel like what I said is much less than what she’s said,” he revealed.

While we always kind of questioned the authenticity of the list — both in terms of the validity of the names and if the troubled actress actually penned it — it’s kind of refreshing to hear at least one of the actors speak out about it. In addition to Franco, a rep for Garrett Hedlund — Lohan’s co-star in 2007′s ‘Georgia Rule’ also denied the claim, allegedly saying: ”I told In Touch that was completely not true and they chose to run it anyway. They worked in a film together.
That’s it. So annoying!”
