Miranda Kerr Engaged to Snapchat Boss Evan Spiegel

Miranda Kerr is engaged to Evan Spiegel after a year of dating, a rep for the Snapchat cofounder and CEO confirms to Us Weekly.

The supermodel, 33, shared the happy news by posting an Instagram photo on Wednesday, July 20, complete with a custom Snapchat filter, of course. “I said yes!!!” she captioned the pic, which showed her diamond ring and featured a Bitmoji cartoon depiction of the proposal and the words “Marry Me!"

The pair first stepped out together in June 2015, and in May they purchased a $12 million mansion in L.A.’s Brentwood neighborhood.

Last week, Us Weekly exclusively revealed that the billionaire, 26, was ready to propose to Kerr. “They are both completely smitten, and Evan’s starting to look at rings,” a source told Us.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel gushed about her younger love to Net-a-Porter’s The Edit in January. “He’s 25, but acts like he’s 50,” she said. “He’s not out partying. He goes to work in [L.A.’s] Venice. He comes home. We don’t go out. We’d rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early.”

Miranda and Evan stepped out in public together as a couple in June 2015 after first meeting at a Louis Vuitton dinner in New York City in 2014.

The 33-year-old former Victoria's Secret model said that even though they hit it off together almost immediately, they began their relationship as friends.

The bride-to-be told The Sydney Morning Herald, “We were really good friends for a long time before we started dating.”

The 33-year-old Kerr — seven years Spiegel’s senior — was previously married to the actor Orlando Bloom; they divorced in 2013.

The supermodel has also said in the past that she waited six months before she introduced Evan to her five-year-old son Flynn.

She said: “[My ex and I decided] that we had to know the person for six months and feel good about them [before introducing them to Flynn].

“Evan met Flynn, so yeah, things are going well. Orlando thinks he's great. We're just a modern family now!”
