Fukushima Destroys Flower Buds in Japan

Apparently, it is going to be a spring without bloom in Tatebayashi City based upon reports supplied by Lori Mochizuki who edits Fukushima-Diary.com. The beautiful Azalea Flower Park in Tatebayashi City is affected. Almost eighty per cent of the azaleas in a flower park in Gunma, Tatebayashi City do not have buds to bloom. This park has been famous for its beautiful flowers and every year, there will be more than ten thousand azalea trees in bloom.

The park attracts more than two hundred thousand people every year. The Municipality there has reported that this year, not even two thousand trees have bloomed. The government is investigating the cause when the answer lies about one hundred and eighty kilometres in the Northeast where the Fukushima Nuclear Plant lies.

The fixes and the safety systems have been mostly makeshift at the plant. There is grave concern by nuclear power proponents that another accident of a similar kind is very much possible. It looks like TEPCO may not have a coherent strategy to control the spread of radioactive particles in the air or leakage underground.
