On 26 July, UFO specialised website MUFON.com received an anonymous report about an alleged UFO sighting that occurred in the city of Edmonton, Canada.

According to this report, “a very big and bright” object was seen hovering above the Canadian metropolis.

“[I] walked out [of the] patio and noticed what I thought was a huge star”, the unnamed witness stated. “It was very big and bright, but [I] realized it wasn't a star when it started moving”, he said.

He also commented that the object “moved very slow” and did not emit any sound.

Long Description of Sighting Report

Walked out patio and noticed what I thought was a huge star. It was very big and bright but realized it wasn't a star when it started moving. It moved very slow! Didn't hear anything only train that is close to my house. Like it covered a lot of area as it traveled in what seemed like a straight path but it moved so slow almost memorizing I couldn't stop watching. I video taped some of it and happy I did because when I watched the video I zoomed in and u can tell through video that it is disc shaped and the lights seem to go around and around on the object. When I look back at watching it in real time though it just looked like a big star. Only white lights no red or green like on helicopters and airplanes.
