In the Jian Ghomeshi case, this former CBC radio host had faced criminal charges for having faced complaints on the abuse of women that he was dating.  But what happens when violence and oppression is turned against your own Mom who is elderly?  In this installment in our investigative series entitled 'The Anatomy of a Psychopath' we, at The Canadian, will further explore a disturbing story that has been ignored by every other Canadian media outlet because it does not involve reported abuse against sexy young white ladies but instead abuse against an elderly visible minority woman who had settled in after after migrating from Jamaica.

This is a story of abuse and  betrayal of a very profound nature.

Raymond, her brother, was living with his elderly parents and had given up his pursuit of a PhD programme that he had been accepted for in Australia and had also made other sacrifices to take care of his parents.   He was particularly devoted to his Mom and greatly admired her for having made great sacrifices for the family.  She customarily put the interest of others over her own.

As we explored in previously published articles, Marcella and Horace, her abusive father, collaborated to concoct stories to the police that Raymond was suffering from “mental illness” in order to get his evicted.  

It appears that Marcella began to see Raymond as an obstacle to her macabre financial plot, and sought to exploit anti-black male racism to hopefully ensure that Raymond would join other black males behind bars.

Marcella was beginning to get her wish when her brother was illegally evicted from his home at 2 AM around 18 April 2015 against Dezrin's wishes who had relied on Raymond for care giving and protection from her abusive husband.

Marcella's macabre plot was only beginning though.  

Marcella Carby-Samuels hired a dirty cop name Detective Robert Griffin Jr in the Ottawa Police Services who ensured that evidence against the abuse of Dezrin was ignored by the police.  This cop is as apparently without ethics and psychotic as any dirty cop you might have seen in a Hollywood movie.

Raymond hired a lawyer named Todd Ji who issued a demand letter that Raymond see his Mom which was eventually granted on 12 June 2015, when Raymond last saw his Mom on “neutral ground” at the Nepean, Rideau and Osgoode Resource Centre.

But thanks to Marcella's efforts to deprive Dezrin of her care giver, and protector, she lost the ability to talk, write and walk.  Raymond was shocked to see the condition of his Mom that day.  Please see what Dezrin looked like when Raymond was looking after Dezrin, and what Dezrin looked like after she had been forcibly separated from his Mom in the photos attached with this article.

Raymond cried for three days almost straight after seeing his Mom was has hopeful at promises made by Ms Alison Timons of the Nepean, Rideau and Osgoode Resource Centre that she and her assistant would be willing to testify in court that Horace in collusion with Marcella was blocking their access to Dezrin resulting in the condition in which she could no longer walk, talk or write.

Before Raymond realized that Detective Robert Griffin Jr was actually a dirty cop hired by Marcella, Raymond revealed this information to Mr. Griffin.

What happened next was yet again testimony to the apparent mind of Marcella Carby-Samuels and her apparent determination to destroy Dezrin and not have Raymond “get in the way” of her plan.

Marcella then got Detective Griffin to go to visit Ms Timons on 15 June 2015 to threaten Ms Timons and her staff to block all further contact with Raymond.  Detective Griffin then began make threatening visits to Raymond that was accompanied by threatening phone calls and even text messages.

Mr. Griffin also told Raymond that if he continued to alert extended family members like cousin, aunts and uncles about what Marcella had been up to that he would charge Raymond for “criminal harassment”.  

Raymond then asked this dirty cop if any other family member besides Marcella herself was complaining, and then he replied “no”.

Raymond knew that with the co-operation of doctors and speech therapists that he might be able to get her Mom's speech back, but Marcella who has been studying for her PhD in Sweden's Lund University, preferred to continue collude with her abusive father to make sure that Raymond would not get any more access to his Mother and supporter her father's continued abuse of her Mom.
