Place: Barnsley, South Yorkshire County, England.

On 18 December, a very strange event was witnessed in the city of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England.

According to an anonymous report published on UFO specialised website MUFON.com, a local resident affirmed to have heard “the sound of crunching wet gravel” outside his house, and “a mixture of clicking and muttering noises” inside his head.

“I was sleeping when I was woken to the sound of crunching wet gravel outside the window (I live in a bungalow and there is a small border of gravel outside the window) and in my head [there] was a mixture of clicking and muttering noises”, the anonymous witness stated. According to him, “the sounds were almost like trying to tune into a frequency but not quite on the right one”.

“My head was off to the right and I was lying on my back still with my eyes closed but very much awake”, he said. “Suddenly my body was forced straight (still on my back) and my eyes forced open”, he continued.

He commented that it looked like “it was midday”, and that his body “was retrained, like something was holding it but it wasn't uncomfortable, and the noise of the clicking a muttering increased not in volume but in intensity”, he expressed.  Additionally, at the same time, “the crunching gravel noise outside the window was moving left to right as if something was pacing or swaying left to right”, he affirmed.

Finally, all the sounds unexpectedly ceased, and the unnamed man started feeling sick. “Suddenly the noise stopped and the hold on me was released and instantly some vomit/mucus entered my mouth”, he reported.

“I have never experienced this before but over years I have witnessed a large sphere shimmering in appearance in the sky. A low flying disc shaped object and suddenly afterwards in a photo there was a human shaped being in the distance but looked more shadow like”, he related.

He is of the opinion that these events could have been an attempt to establish some sort of communication. For this reason, he has decided to investigate more about UFO phenomena. “My need for answers has dramatically increased”, he stated.

Long Description of Sighting Report

I was sleeping when I was woken to the sound of crunching wet gravel outside the window (I live in a bungalow and there is a a small border of gravel out side the window) and in my head was a mixture of clicking and muttering noises. The sound seemed like it was not just in my head but maybe in some kind of bubble around my head. The sounds were almost like trying to tune into a frequency but not quite on the right one. My head was off to the right and I was laying on my back still with my eyes closed but very much awake. Suddenly my body was forced straight (still on my back) and my eyes forced open. I felt very much awake as though it was mid day. My body was retrained like something was holding it but it wasn't uncomfortable and the noise of the clicking a muttering increased not in volume but in intensity and the same time the crunching gravel noise outside the window was moving left to right as though something was pacing or swaying left to right.

Suddenly the noise stopped and the hold on me was released and instantly some vomit/mucus entered my mouth.

Recently I have been doing more research on UFOs, my need for answers has dramatically increased.
