Last week, the news of a very strange event caused frenzy among internet users and UFO researchers.

On 09 March, YouTube user and UFO enthusiast Streetcap1 uploaded a video that allegedly shows a series of photos of famous extraterrestrial device Black Knight.

One day after the release of this video, British online newspaper Express published an article about it. The article explained that “the Black Knight satellite is the name that has been given to an object captured on camera by NASA astronauts during a 1998 space shuttle mission”.

According to Express, some alien theorists are of the opinion that “the satellite is an object of extraterrestrial origin, possibly up to 13,000 years old orbiting Earth in near-polar orbit”.

However, some researchers are sceptic about the alien origin of this object. Scott Brando, of ufointerest.org opined that the dark shape in the photos is “nothing more than a dropped thermal blanket”.

“It was lost by the crew of the Endeavour space shuttle as they worked on the developing the International Space Station (ISS)”, he expressed. “The same blanket is then seen being dropped by the crew as it tumbles away into space”, he added.

Moreover, Mr Brando also described the alleged blanket as “being exactly the same shape as the 'Black Knight' in the 1998 pictures seized on by conspiracists” and said that “the object only appeared to change shape because it was turning as it fell away”.

Nevertheless, famous UFO researcher and writer Scott C. Waring, of UFO Sightings Daily believes something different. From his point of view, the object that appear in images from Streetcap1’s video is “very dark and has a lot of detail to it”.

“Its darkness and shape make a possibility that this may be a Dark Knight satellite”, Mr Waring commented.

“Dark Knight is an ancient astronaut satellite system placed in Earth’s orbit thousands of years ago to safeguard their (aliens) planet claim”, Mr Waring explained. “Claim by whom? Probably the alien species on Planet X, also known as Nibiru, a mysterious planet that NASA says does exist, but has a 10k-15k year orbit around Earth”, he added.
