'Bearded Face' Discovered On Mars Surface

Date: 24 March, 2017.

Place: Surface of Mars.

On 24 March, another strange feature was discovered in the surface of Mars.

According to an article published on British online newspaper The Express, an alleged “bearded face” was discovered by a group of scientists in a photo released by NASA.

“The face of a ‘bearded humanoid’ apparently found on a rock face on Mars could have been carved by aliens, a scientific paper has concluded”, the article states.

In a paper published in the Journal of the Space Exploration, these scientists affirmed that they found a “bearded profile with avian headdress within the southeast-facing slope of an impact crater in the Utopia Planitia region of Mars”.

Renowned members of The Society for Planetary SETI Research and the Cydonia Institute like geologist Michael Dale, geomorphologist William Saunders, sculptor George Haas and image analyst James Miller affirmed that “the surface features that produce the unique facial components of this bearded portrait with avian headdress in Icaria Planum are real and exhibit a level of consistency that is highly suspect of having artificial origins”.

“We recommend that both NASA and the imaging team at the University of Arizona direct the current MRO spacecraft to acquire addition images of these anomalous surface features”, they expressed.

“New satellite images should be acquired at different times of day and under various sun angles for further analysis. If these features are found to be consistent, we would encourage the pursuit of a ground survey of this area by future rover missions and recommend this site as a prime candidate for the study of potential archaeological artefacts on the surface of Mars”, the group of scientists affirmed through a press release.

Additionally, UFO researchers like Scott C. Waring, of UFO Sightings Daily also support the idea of the alien origin of these structures. “The facial features include an eye, nose, mouth, moustache and beard, while the headdress consists of a large nesting bird”, he said. “The formation is documented in four NASA images that confirm the consistency of the portraits human and avian components”, he added.

'Bearded face carved by ALIENS found on Mars' by scientists who call for NASA probe

THE face of a "bearded humanoid" apparently found on a rock face on Mars could have been carved by aliens, a scientific paper has concluded.

According to the study, published in the Journal Of Space Exploration this month, it appears to be a "bearded profile with avian headdress within the southeast-facing slope of an impact crater in the Utopia Planitia region of Mars".

The researchers are now calling on NASA to urgently get further images of the "face" in a bid to investigate further if it really could be the first ever proof of the existence of intelligent alien life.

Spotting faces in rock surfaces in NASA images of the Red Planet is usually the domain of far-out alien chasers like Scott C Waring, editor of ufosightingsdaily.com.

He claims to find them an an almost weekly basis.

If Mr Waring's reports, dismissed as the results of pareidolia by sceptics, are to be believed the Martian surface is teeming with wildlife like that here on Earth and the relics of an ancient alien civilisation.

Pareidolia is when the brain tricks the eyes into seeing familiar objects or shapes in textures or patterns such as the surface of a rock or clouds.

A press release about the research said "The facial features include an eye, nose, mouth, moustache and beard, while the headdress consists of a large nesting bird.

"The formation is documented in four NASA images that confirm the consistency of the portraits human and avian components.

"When compared to a collection of similar terrestrial motifs, the Martian structure not only duplicates their aesthetic design but, reveals a lost legacy perhaps shared between two worlds."

Contributors to the paper include members of the Society for Planetary SETI Research and The Cydonia Institute, geomorphologist William Saunders, sculptor George Haas, geologist Michael Dale and image analyst James Miller.

The Society for Planetary SETI Research and The Cydonia Institute are independent organisations made up of scientists and researchers with a common interest in the study of anomalies observed on planets and satellites within the solar system whose origins may be the result of intelligent design.

The study concluded: "We conclude that the surface features that produce the unique facial components of this bearded portrait with avian headdress in Icaria Planum are real and exhibit a level of consistency that is highly suspect of having artificial origins.

"We recommend that both NASA and the imaging team at the University of Arizona direct the current MRO spacecraft to acquire addition images of these anomalous surface features.

"New satellite images should be acquired at different times of day and under various sun angles for further analysis.

"If these features are found to be consistent, we would encourage the pursuit of a ground survey of this area by future rover missions and recommend this site as a prime candidate for the study of potential archaeological artefacts on the surface of Mars."
