Just a couple of weeks ago, on 02 August, a very strange event occurred in the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

According to an anonymous report published on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) online database, a  woman and some of her friends affirmed to have seen “a hazy orb with a halo around it” hovering above the Ontarian metropolis.

“I, my sister and my boyfriend were at the bar. It was about 11:45p.m., and I only had half a beer by this point. There was a clear sky [and] as I was looking at the stars, I looked straight above me and saw this hazy orb with a halo around it moving north”, the woman asserted.

“It was kind of like a defused light but you could see it better if you weren’t looking straight at it. I pointed it out to my sister and my boyfriend and they saw it. So we were watching it and a point of white light that looked like a star started to come out the left side of it. We weren’t sure if it was orbiting it or coming out the side”, the Thunder Bay resident expressed.

“We pointed it out to other people and they saw it. I'm not going to lie: I was seriously scared at this point because I did not know what this thing was and I had never seen it before in my life” she said. “My sister ran out the back door to get a better view of it, and she said it seemed to be slowing down to stop but it kept going”, she added.

Finally, according to the Ontarian woman, the object disappeared about 10 minutes later, but it was seen by several skywatchers in different locations in northwestern Ontario. “It was about 11:55 before we lost sight of it. I posted about it on Facebook and, about an hour later, [the object] was seen in Geraldton and in some of the northern reserves”, she related.
