Just a couple of weeks ago, on 29 September, a very unusual event was witnessed in the small community of Desbarats, Ontario.

According to an anonymous report published on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) online database, a local woman affirmed to have seen “bright white light” hovering above the Ontarian village.

“At approximately 09:00 pm, on 29 September 2017, I took the three dogs outside to do their business [while] I was having a cigarette on the back deck”, the unnamed witness stated. “At approximately 9:15 pm, the two older dogs began to bark upwards, towards the bush line. As I live in a forest area, I thought nothing of it at first, until I looked above the tall maple”, she continued.

What she saw was what she described as a “bright white light” moving across the sky. “I saw a very bright white light slowly moving North across the sky. Then, it made an instant right turn (North - Northwest) [and] travelled that way for a bit. Then, it made another instant turn, but 180° from where it was travelling”, the Ontarian citizen affirmed.

“It made one more movement and it continued along the path that it was traveling when I first noticed it. It continued to [perform] that movement in a straight line heading north. It then started getting smaller, turned into an orange or red colour and vanished”, she reported.

The woman expressed that her dogs were scared during the event. “Once the object was almost overhead, the three dogs ran onto the deck and began clawing at the patio door to get in the house”, she related. “I was also on the phone with my boyfriend during the first few minutes of the sighting, but hung up to focus on the object better”, she commented.

“It wasn’t a long sighting, but it didn’t look or move like a satellite, man-made [craft] or space debris. I’ve been noticing strange night time activity in the sky here, but tonight’s was the most stunning”, she asserted.
