A couple of weeks ago, on 20 October, a very strange incident was reported in the city of Oakville, Ontario.

According to an anonymous testimony published on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a local resident affirmed to have seen “two triangle or diamond-shaped objects” moving across the sky.

“I was in my backyard in Oakville, Ontario, at approximately 08:20 p.m. on 20 October, 2017. I was out trying to spot meteorites from the Orionids, so I was already looking skyward. A meteor had just transited the sky from west to east”, the witness related. Then, out of nowhere, appeared the two unidentified objects. “Suddenly, in the southern sky, two triangle or diamond-shaped orange (very orange) lights transited toward the east, moving faster than an airplane, [but] slower than a meteor”, he added.

The Ontarian citizen also commented that the unidentified crafts flew at a very low altitude, changing their flight path a couple of times. “They appeared to be low in altitude (approximately 30 degrees above the horizon)”, he said. “Initially I thought it could have been an illuminated banner being towed, but it suddenly stopped and did a couple of direction changes very slowly. Then, it disappeared from my view behind trees and neighbouring houses”, he continued.

The Oakville resident added that the distance between the two crafts was approximately “one foot”, measured from his point of view. “I held up my hands to measure the distance between the two lights”, he stated. “With my arms fully extended, and the tips of my thumbs touching, they appeared about as far apart as my extended little fingers. That measures about one foot apart at full arm’s length”, he asserted.

Finally, according to his calculations, the whole sighting did not last too much. “The entire ‘flight’ I observed was less than 30 seconds”, he expressed.
