Bright UFO Appears In Kansas City, Missouri

Date: 15 December, 2017.

Place: Kansas City, State of Missouri, United States.

A few days ago, on 15 December, a very strange incident was reported in Kansas City, Missouri.

According to an anonymous testimony published on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) online database, a local resident affirmed to have spotted a “very bright light” hovering over the American city.

“I believe it was around 07:00 PM (CST) on 15 December, 2017. It had recently become fully dark. I was letting my dog out and always look up at the stars and planes flying around, scanning sections of sky piece by piece”, the author of the report stated. “I first looked over a small section of sky directly to the south, and then moved over to the southwest. When looking back from the southwest to view the southeastern section of sky, I noticed a very bright light in the southern sky that I hadn't noticed before”, he continued.

The American citizen explained that he first thought it was an airplane. However, he soon realised it was something very different. “I at first thought it was a commercial airliner flying low with its landing lights on, since the Kansas City airport is within 10 to 15 miles from my home. But, as I kept watching the light I couldn't see any strobe or flashing light like a typical aircraft would have and it didn't seem to be moving at all in the sky”, he asserted.

The object remained stationary for a couple of seconds, but then it started to move. “The light stayed the same size and brightness, and apparently stationary for maybe 2 or 3 seconds from when I first noticed it, but then the it began very slowly fading out and appeared to be moving in an upwardly and southern direction, or up and away from my vantage point”, the unnamed witness asserted.

Finally, a few moments after this, the unidentified object vanished in space. “Within probably 10 to 15 seconds, the large, bright light had shrunken to the smallest barely visible point of light in the sky and finally disappeared”, the Missouri resident mentioned.
