UFO: Bright, Plume-shaped Object Appears In Longlac, Ontario
Date: 13 January, 2018.
Place: Longlac, Province of Ontario, Canada.
Early this year, on 13 January, a very unusual event was witnessed in the small village of Longlac, Ontario.
According to an anonymous report published on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a local resident affirmed to have seen a bright, unidentified object hovering over the Canadian town.
“I went outside for a smoke. I looked up and saw a dim light that looked nothing like a star; it was very big”, the author of the report affirmed. “I went inside and grabbed my binoculars. I looked through them and couldn't believe what I was looking at. It had a small bright centre with a bright plume on both sides”, he added.
The unnamed witness asserted that the plumes eventually covered the whole object. “I called my girlfriend outside to look at it. I gave her the binoculars but she couldn't see it. I kind of got upset and grabbed my binoculars off of her. I looked again and the plumes were getting bigger and bigger; they got so big that they eventually disappeared”, he described.
“It reappeared thirty seconds later and my girlfriend saw it without my binoculars. This time the little bright light was on top and the plume was underneath it. It was smaller, closer to the light and got wider going down. It was at the same level when I first saw it”, the Ontario resident explained. “We [the witness and his girlfriend] both took turns looking at it through the binoculars. It drifted westward but staying at the same height, eventually disappearing behind trees that were closer to us”, he continued.
Finally, according to the Canadian citizen, the UFO looked like a rocket that had been seen a few days prior in Los Angeles, California. However, as he said, “if it was a rocket, where was it taking off from? Canada has no rocket sites”. “Maybe the Americans sent it up from somewhere in the Arctic. I don't know, it freaked me out”, he expressed.
