A couple of weeks ago, on 18 March, a very unusual event was witnessed in the small community of Caledon East, Ontario.

According to an anonymous report published on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a local resident allegedly saw what he described as a “triangle-shaped object” hovering over the Ontarian town.

“This event occurred at approximately 10:15 PM on Sunday, 18 March, 2018, while I was out in the balcony having a smoke (tobacco) with my girlfriend”, the witness stated. “None of us were under the influence of any [illegal] substances”, he added.

The Ontario resident asserted that the UFO looked like a triangle with lights on the edges. “The object in question appeared to be a triangle-shaped object with dull, amber lights at each corner. Its surface appeared to be cloudy and I almost could see through”, he commented. He also calculated its altitude. “My estimation would be that it was at definitely under 5000 feet but not less than 1000 above ground”, he expressed.

“It was spotted at about 45 degrees above the horizon in the southeastern sky, travelling northwest-north in a straight line and at a steady speed (relatively fast, significantly faster than an approaching/departing plane)”, the witness described. “The whole encounter took 3 to 4 seconds at most before the object was no longer visible, because it was obstructed by the rooftops”, he explained.

The Canadian citizen said that the area where he lives is famous for its air traffic. However, the object was something he had never seen. “I am fully aware that this area is an approach/departure path taken by aircraft coming in and out of Toronto Pearson, and one such aircraft had just passed overhead a few moments earlier”, he affirmed. “Both of us [he and his girlfriend] spoke about what we saw right after and have agreed that it is something we cannot identify”, he continued.
