U.S. Acquisition of Six Canadian Companies Could Put Data Into Homeland Security Control
Access,
the largest privately-held records and information management (RIM)
services provider in the United States, on 17 May 2018 announced a major
expansion into Canada, with the acquisition of six Canadian records
management companies. With these acquisitions, Access expands its
operations in North America with locations in Toronto, Vancouver,
Calgary, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina, St. John’s and Saint John,
servicing more than 20 key markets across 10 Canadian provinces.
As a result, more Canadian data could be now under U.S. Homeland Security Control.
