Skin care brand to help children living with HIV

(NC) -- Since caring for our skin is a part of our daily routine, why not combine it with a contribution to an initiative that is saving children?

In the past 10 years, New York-based luxury skincare brand Kiehl's Since 1851 has raised millions of dollars in its work to fight AIDS. Kiehl's continues to raise awareness and funds for the cause; in a special partnership with Grammy-Award-winning singer/songwriter Alicia Keys and her charity Keep a Child Alive (keepachildalive.org).

“I'm really excited about partnering with Kiehl's for my cause Keep A Child Alive,” says Keys, “especially since they will be donating all profits from the sale of such a fabulous skin care formula.”

While important advances in the treatment of HIV/AIDS have been made in the past decade, this illness remains one of the world's most serious health challenges. Statistics show that 72 per cent of children who need HIV treatment are not receiving it. Continuing their longstanding heritage of working to fight HIV/AIDS, Kiehl's is working to bring life-saving HIV care and treatment, nutritious food and support to children and families affected by the disease.

Kiehl's Since 1851 has created a limited edition Midnight Recovery Concentrate –with every purchase at Kiehl's across Canada or online at kiehls.ca, 100 per cent of the net profits will go to support Keep A Child Alive.
