Patient Wished They Had Never Seen Dr. Tenenbaum - Terrible Doctor

We respect our doctors and think of them as people who can do no wrong. They are regarded as people whose only intention is to help people who are not in the best of health. However, not all doctors are people of great repute who want to help their patients recover. There are some doctors who lack professionalsm and are only interested in making money at the expense of patient care. Such doctors do not enjoy good reputation with their patients. Dr Tenenbaum is an apparent example of such a doctor.

If you visit the website ‘RateMDs’, you will get a fair idea of the kind of reputation Dr Tenenbaum enjoys with his patients.

Here is a review left by a patient in Victoria who wishes that he/she had never seen the doctor.

"This is the one doctor I wish I had never seen. He originally gave me a dx back in 06, but failed to help me manage said dx.”

The patient says how losing weight as prescribed by the doctor, who is himself kind of overweight, did not really help him get rid of the pain.

“He chalked it up to me being overweight (he wasn't exactly a healthy weight, either!) and, even after losing all of my excess weight and doing a total lifestyle overhaul, I am still in constant pain.”

He further says that Dr Tenenbaum did not do anything to help him manage his pain.

“He didn't do anything to help me manage the pain levels. He only suggested I 'get more sleep' but refused to help me with that.”

The patient then tells us that he/she found another doctor with more empathy.

“Thankfully, I have since found somebody with considerably more empathy, who has actually helped me with my pain issues. 8 years after dealing with this "doctor" and I'm finally seeing some progress!"

Another patient tells us that the doctor rushed things up during his/her last visit and failed to offer any real diagnosis or show any interest towards discussing the treatment in details.

“During my last visit to this doctor, I feel that he rushed things up. I thought the doctor would have discussed about the treatment with me a little bit longer but he did not.”

These reviews remind us that we should always take a second opinion before pursuing the treatment prescribed by a doctor. When in doubt, we should always seek clarifications and make sure that we have been prescribed the right treatment for our health condition.
