Dr Jerry Tenenbaum Exploits Patients Like Lab Rats

Dr. Jerry Tenenbaum orders voluminous medical tests on patients while apparently lacking a compassionate interest in the recovery of his patients.

Could Dr Tenenbaum who teaches at the University of Toronto simply be using his patients to collect data for his medical research?

Could Dr. Tenenbaum be ordering such test to also exploit Canada's public healthcare insurance by needlessly charging taxpayers for dead end tests to legitimate his pay?

In one terrible situation, he ordered such tests on an elderly woman who he had promised treatment only to order bottles of Tylenol Arthritis. A nose spray that he prescribed for the patient made her get chronic high blood pressure. He did this after he was warned that the patient experienced an adverse reaction to nasal spray a few years ago.

Now, thanks to the dysfunctional involvement of Dr. Tenenbaum the patient can no longer walk, talk or write. Going to Dr Tenenbaum actually made their condition worse. If you read the reviews of the doctor posted on RateMDs, you will realize that most of the patients are unhappy with the type of service offered by the doctor.

In one such review, the patient calls Dr Tenenbaum the worst specialist he/she had ever had to deal with.

“In my opinion, one of the worst specialist I have ever had to deal with. Every time I had an appointment there at his clinic, I could hear him tell all the patients the same thing ‘Exercise, lose weight, etc.’"

The patient complains about being insulted by the doctor and being given generic answers.

“When I went to him desperate to get answers, he was rude, insulted me and gave me the same answers I could hear him give all the other patients.”

The patient talks about finding another specialist who could improve his/her quality of life without prescribing any pain pills.

“He told me I was fat, lazy, and need more exercise. He was wrong. I found another specialist who has been great at helping me have a better quality of life without pain pills.”

It is true that there are a few positive reviews of the doctor with 5 star ratings and positive comments. Is it possible that these reviews are fake? Could it be that his staff or he himself has posted those reviews?

The overwhelming number of negative reviews cast a doubt on the positive reviews, making them look fake. Some people suspect that Dr. Tenenbaum is just running an MSP paper-billing-machine. I am suspicious Dr. Tenenbaum is abusing MSP billing, and acting incompetent in his level of expertise, that he claims he has.

If you have visited the doctor, tell us about your experience. Remember that it is always better to take a second opinion before pursuing the treatment prescribed by a doctor. When in doubt, you should always seek clarifications and make sure that you have been prescribed the right treatment for your health condition. It is not a good idea to listen to a doctor who only offers generic treatments.
