National Home Show comes to Toronto

The National Home Show is coming to Toronto in March 2013. Scheduled to start on March 15 and to last through March 24, preparations have already started at the Direct Energy Centre. Featuring a wide range of products and ideas, the National Home Show is considered one of Canada’s biggest events for homeowners.

This year, visitors who purchase tickets to the National Home Show will get free tickets to Canada Blooms. This flower and garden festival will focus on the “Magic of Spring” and will feature lectures, gardening tips, competitions, products, new plants and workshops. With wine sensory gardens, tea tastings and horticultural exhibitions, the festival is set to attract thousands of visitors.

The National Home Show will include everything from appliances to window coverings. The Dream Home, built by Quality Homes, will feature the latest design and technology innovations in 2,000 square feet. Visitors will get the chance to explore items ranging from polished concrete to handmade glass. The show will include a chance to examine aqua pools and spas while learning more about paint options and floor categories.

Several celebrity guests have already announced their appearances at the National Home Show including Bryan Baeumler from the HGTV show “Leave it to Bryan” and Paul Lafrance from the HGTV shows “Canada’s Decked Out” and “Deck Wars.” Jackie Morra, a consultant, and Yanic Simard, the founder of the Toronto Interior Design Group, have also been scheduled to participate.
