Michelle Obama Urges Americans to Vote for Hillary Clinton

In the race for the White House, anybody who does not want Republican nominee Donald Trump to win the election is quickly gunning up for Hillary Clinton. First Lady Michelle Obama is one of them. She has officially joined forces with her former adversary and is ready to support her up to the end of the race.

They have never been close friends and were up to each other’s throats in 2008 during Obamas first presidential campaign. Apart from state initiated events and functions, one would not describe these two as friends. But no one who is pro Democrat wants Trump to win and for the old grievances, they are long gone.

In fact First Lady Michelle Obama wants the American people to vote for Hillary Clinton. Speaking at the Democratic National Convention, she urged the party to do for Mrs. Clinton what they did for her husband.

“When crisis hits, we don’t turn against each other. No, we listen to each other, we lean on each other, because we are always stronger together,” she said. “I am here tonight because I know that, that is the kind of president Hillary Clinton will be.”

She further urged them to choose a President that will be a good role model for children and shape them for the next four or eight years of their lives.

“Our friend Hillary Clinton,” she said, is the only candidate in the race she trusted with that responsibility.

She also pointed out that America is one of the greatest countries on Earth and that no one should say that it is not great and somehow needs to be made great again. She even mocked Donald Trump and his frequent use of social media like Twitter, questioning if he had any real knowledge of policy.

Mrs. Obama is well known for her efforts to always balance between ceremony and policy. She has generated a lot of controversy as First Lady especially in her efforts to reshape the country’s nutritional rules and her attempts to make the food industries manufacture healthier food products.

She has also been praised for her efforts and campaign in childhood exercise, “Let’s Move” as well as the international education program “Let Girls Learn.”
