Is oil extraction destabilizing Earth's "structural equilibrium"?

Oil reserves have been a cushion that has protected to the inner earth like oil in a vehicle that keeps it running smoothly. What would happen if you drove your car after you’ve drained the oil but didn’t replace it? The engine would conk out by throwing a rod – right? A violent reaction to removing the oil and not replacing it.

That’s part of what’s causing problems with the earth’s inner core. It tries to compensate for loss of cushion.
