U.S. Drunk driver wears I'm a drunk T-shirt

(Metro.co.uk) -- The motorist, 22-year-old Kevin Daly, ploughed into a cop car in Suffolk County while wearing a t-shirt which read: 'I'm not an alcoholic. I'm a drunk. Alcoholics go to meetings.'

He was driving intoxicated at 1.45am when his 200 Saturn hit the officer's vehicle, who was on drink driving patrol at the time, the Mail Online reported.

The officer was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital but Daly was not injured.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated and issued multiple travel summonses. He will be arraigned later today and is due back in court on Wednesday.

His mug shot, with his t-shirt in full view, was released to the public.

Last year, a repeat drink driving offender was wearing a similarly appropriate t-shirt when he was pulled over by police for the fourth time.

Fifty-year-old James J Johnson's mug shot shows him wearing a t-shirt which read: 'I have a drinking problem...'

The Connecticut resident was so drunk behind the wheel that he crashed his truck into someone's house.
