In the above video, an Arizona witness reported an encounter on a lonely desert road with a red orb as close as six feet just west of Congress after midnight on May 19, 2011.  The witness was three miles west of Congress when a light first thought to be a helicopter was spotted after pulling over and getting out of the vehicle.

A Phoenix, AZ, witness reports observing a "red orb with a bright blue aura or 'glow' around it" moving in odd patterns in the sky about 8 p.m. on March 19, 2012, while standing along Thomas Street at 19th Avenue, according to March 21, 2012, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"At about 8 p.m. I got off the city bus on Thomas and 19th Avenue and I saw people standing around looking up at the sky towards the south," the witness stated. "I looked up and saw a red orb with a bright blue aura or 'glow' around it."

The witness described the object's movement.

"It flew in a very odd pattern, with no real direction. Sometimes it'd go right, then left, then lower, then higher, sometimes it'd just stop."

The object moved away when two helicopters moved into the area.

"After a while two helicopters flew towards it and it appeared to fly low and drop out of view behind South Mountain."

South Mountain is a range in central Arizona in south Phoenix. No images or videos were included with the MUFON report. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
