Four Pennsylvania witnesses at Altoona report they watched and videotaped a "large, fuzzy vortex" or light in the April 3, 2012, sky, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The group was at an outside gathering when the object first came into view.

"Looked like a tilted, white-ish vortex," the reporting witness stated. "Seemed to be a mist around it as well. The sky was perfectly clear."

Altoona is a city in Blair County, PA, population 46,320. Some past cases where a "vortex-style" light was seen in the sky was actually a U.S.-generated flight mission.
